Enterprise Account Director Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a enterprise account director in Colorado?
Most enterprise account directors in Colorado reach the role after several years in quota-carrying sales positions such as account executive or senior account manager, typically within technology, SaaS, or managed services companies concentrated along the Front Range. No state-issued license is required. Colorado employers place significant weight on a record of closing large contracts, experience managing multi-stakeholder accounts, and familiarity with the industries dominant in Denver and Boulder, particularly cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise software.
How much do enterprise account directors make in Colorado?
Enterprise account directors in Colorado earn a median of about $79,810 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $44,530 for the lowest 10% to over $164,840 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise account directors in Colorado?
Colorado enterprise account director roles are posted by Klaviyo, Comcast, and Salesforce and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's concentration of technology headquarters and defense contractors along the Front Range means hiring remains consistent year-round rather than seasonal.
Which Colorado cities have the most enterprise account director jobs?
Denver, Colorado, and Austin have the most enterprise account director openings in Colorado right now. Denver leads because of its dense cluster of technology companies, financial services firms, and regional headquarters, while Boulder's startup and SaaS ecosystem generates steady demand, and Colorado Springs draws openings from defense and government technology contractors based near the military installations there.
Are there remote enterprise account director jobs in Colorado?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 76% of enterprise account director openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the role centers on calls, virtual executive briefings, and CRM work rather than daily in-office presence. Strategic account planning and executive relationship management are the parts most commonly performed fully remotely, while onsite client visits remain for contract negotiations and QBRs.
How can I get hired as a enterprise account director in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is to move into an account executive or strategic account manager role at a Colorado technology or SaaS company, build a record of enterprise deal closures, and pursue promotion from within. Companies like Oracle and Salesforce run structured sales development and account management programs out of their Colorado offices that are open to candidates earlier in their careers. Earning a Salesforce certification or completing a formal solution-selling methodology course gives applicants a concrete credential that Colorado hiring managers look for when evaluating less-tenured candidates.
Where can I find and apply to enterprise account director jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to enterprise account director jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings. Search the available roles, identify the ones that fit your background and target industry, and apply directly to the ones that match your experience level and location preference.
