Data Analytics Responsibilities

- Perform data validation, reconciliations, and quality-control procedures to identify incomplete, inconsistent, duplicate, or inaccurate records.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, business drivers, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar platforms.
- Write and refine queries using SQL and other data tools to extract, combine, and analyze information from multiple sources.
- Support data integration and automation activities, including repeatable data-preparation workflows and connections between source systems and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with clients and engagement teams to gather business requirements, define key performance indicators, and translate questions into analytical solutions.
- Prepare clear summaries and presentations that communicate analytical findings, assumptions, limitations, and recommended actions to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Document data sources, calculation logic, data definitions, analytical procedures, and reporting processes to support consistency and knowledge transfer.

- Partner with the WissLabs innovation team on experiments involving AI-assisted analytics, natural-language querying, automated variance analysis, and finance-focused data workflows.
- Research and evaluate emerging analytics, AI, and finance technology tools for potential client applications.
- Participate in quality assurance procedures and ensure analyses and deliverables are accurate, complete, reproducible, and aligned with client expectations.
- Client-facing responsibilities:
- Participate in and, as experience grows, lead client meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and explain analytical solutions.
- Support the preparation of Statements of Work (SOW), project plans, and scoping estimates for data analytics engagements.
