We are looking for a trainer who is passionate about helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident—and who has a fun personality and enjoys building genuine relationships with clients.
This position is ideal for someone with broad availability, approximately 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, and the ability to possibly work some Saturdays. Our trainers work with a variety of clients and fitness levels, so strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to modify workouts are essential.
What You'll Do
- Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions for clients of varying ages, fitness levels, and abilities
- Develop safe, effective, and individualized workout programs based on each client's goals
- Develop supplemental solo workouts that align with each client's programming and help them stay on track between personal training sessions.
- Perform client assessments and help clients establish realistic fitness goals
- Demonstrate proper exercise technique and provide coaching and corrections throughout sessions
- Modify exercises appropriately for injuries, limitations, fitness levels, and individual needs
- Track client progress and make adjustments to training programs as needed
- Build strong, positive relationships with clients and provide accountability and encouragement
- Help clients stay consistent and motivated toward their fitness goals
- Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, progress, goals, and training needs
- Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming training environment
- Collaborate with other Sozo trainers and staff to provide an excellent member experience
- Be a positive team player and participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education as needed
- Occasionally assist with group fitness classes, gym events, challenges, or other Sozo activities
- Represent Sozo Family Fitness professionally both inside and outside the gym
