Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and food preparation teams, ensuring efficient shift management and high-quality food production
- Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating dietary considerations and fine dining techniques
- Oversee food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory control and stock levels for kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional culinary presentations
- Monitor food service operations to uphold standards of hospitality, serving excellence, and customer satisfaction
- Implement cost control measures while maintaining the quality of food production and presentation
Experience
- Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within the food industry, preferably with banquet, catering, or fine dining backgrounds
- Demonstrated supervising experience managing teams in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and kitchen management best practices
- Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and cost control strategies
- Strong background in restaurant management or food service management with a focus on quality assurance and team leadership
- Familiarity with dietary department requirements and catering operations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for culinary excellence and hospitality leadership
Pay: $20.02 - $21.13 per hour
