Duties

• Lead and supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate project schedules to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure clarity and accuracy prior to execution.
• Manage subcontractors and crew members effectively, providing clear direction, supervision, and performance feedback.
• Monitor project progress daily; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Oversee quality control processes, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and industry standards.
• Utilize construction management software such as Excel, Project HQ, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics; facilitate accurate construction drawing review and implementation.
• Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating to ensure financial targets are met.
• Coordinate with project managers on scheduling updates, procurement needs, and contract management.
• Conduct site inspections using tools like an ohmmeter for electrical testing; ensure all work meets safety and quality benchmarks.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing pubic works, commercial or heavy civil construction projects as a superintendent or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software including Excel, ProCore, Bluebeam and other relevant tools.
• Extensive on-site construction experience with a focus on safety compliance under OSHA standards and federal regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret construction plans accurately.
• Excellent management skills with experience supervising teams of diverse tradespeople and subcontractors.
• Skilled in project scheduling, coordination of construction activities, budgeting, and cost control measures.
• Familiarity with managing contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and project documentation processes.
• Knowledge of construction safety management practices including OSHA regulations specific to commercial projects.
• Effective communication skills for managing teams, coordinating with clients or stakeholders, and managing project reports.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
