As we continue expanding our services in Colorado, we are seeking an experienced ABA professional to join our team as a Part-Time ABA Clinical Lead / Senior RBT in the Grand Junction area.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, mentoring others, and helping grow a developing ABA program.

Position Overview

The ABA Clinical Lead will provide in-person clinical support for our Grand Junction clients and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).

Working collaboratively with our supervising BCBA, this individual will travel between client homes, provide hands-on implementation support, assist with staff development, and promote consistency and quality of services.

The position currently supports approximately four clients, with opportunities for increased hours and leadership responsibilities as our Colorado caseload grows.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support & Treatment Implementation

• Visit assigned clients in their homes throughout the Grand Junction area.
• Model evidence-based, compassionate ABA teaching strategies.
• Support RBTs in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Observe treatment sessions and provide implementation feedback within the employee's qualifications and delegated responsibilities.
• Assist with naturalistic teaching, skill acquisition, and behavior support strategies.
• Identify implementation barriers and communicate observations to the supervising BCBA.
• Promote assent-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered practices.

Staff Training & Collaboration

• Support the onboarding and training of new RBTs.
• Model effective clinical procedures and professional interactions.
• Assist with treatment fidelity checks using BCBA-developed protocols.
• Participate in regular meetings with the supervising BCBA.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative, and positive team environment.

Family Collaboration

• Establish positive, professional relationships with clients and caregivers.
• Model approved treatment strategies during sessions.
• Communicate caregiver questions and concerns to the supervising BCBA.
• Support consistency in treatment implementation across environments.

Documentation & Quality Assurance

• Complete timely and accurate documentation of clinical support activities.
• Communicate relevant observations and recommendations to the supervising BCBA.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

Required

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or BCaBA/BCBA certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA services.
• Strong understanding of behavior intervention plans, skill acquisition programs, prompting, reinforcement, and data collection.
• Experience supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with a remote supervising BCBA.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client homes in the Grand Junction area.
• Ability to meet applicable background screening requirements.

Preferred

• 3+ years of ABA experience.
• Previous experience as a Lead RBT, Senior Behavior Technician, or Clinical Trainer.
• Experience mentoring or training other behavior technicians.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavior analysis, or a related field.
• Currently pursuing a master's degree in ABA or BCBA certification.
• Experience with caregiver collaboration and home-based ABA services.

Schedule & Compensation

• Starting at approximately 6–10 hours per week.
• Flexible scheduling coordinated around client and staff availability.
• In-person visits throughout Grand Junction and surrounding communities.
• Paid travel between assigned client locations in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Opportunities for additional hours as the caseload expands.
