Clinical Sales Manager Jobs in Nebraska: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a clinical sales manager in Nebraska?
Most clinical sales managers in Nebraska enter the field with a bachelor's degree in a health science, business, or nursing discipline, then build several years of direct clinical or medical sales experience. Nebraska does not require a state-issued license specific to clinical sales management, but candidates selling certain regulated medical devices or pharmaceuticals should confirm any applicable product-line registrations. Large Nebraska health systems and regional distributors typically promote from inside their clinical specialist or territory rep ranks into management roles.
How much do clinical sales managers make in Nebraska?
Clinical sales managers in Nebraska earn a median of about $126,990 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $72,410 for the lowest 10% to over $227,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire clinical sales managers in Nebraska?
Employers hiring clinical sales managers in Nebraska right now include Bryan Health, University of Nebraska Medical Center, and Celerion, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nebraska's concentration of integrated health networks and regional distribution hubs creates steady demand from both national manufacturers and locally headquartered healthcare organizations.
Which Nebraska cities have the most clinical sales manager jobs?
Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island have the most clinical sales manager openings in Nebraska. Omaha anchors the market as home to CHI Health, Nebraska Medicine, and several medical device distributors, while Lincoln's concentration of regional health systems and university-affiliated medical programs generates consistent secondary demand, and smaller hubs reflect territory assignments tied to those same statewide employer networks.
Are there remote clinical sales manager jobs in Nebraska?
Yes, but they're rare. About 7% of clinical sales manager openings tied to Nebraska are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, which reflects how hands-on the role typically is, most positions require in-person visits to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers. The parts of the role most likely to be done remotely are administrative tasks, virtual training, and internal reporting rather than the core customer-facing work.
How can I get hired as a clinical sales manager in Nebraska with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into clinical sales from a bedside or clinical specialist role, since Nebraska's large employers like CHI Health and Nebraska Medicine frequently hire former clinicians as territory representatives before promoting into management. Pursuing a medical device or pharmaceutical sales associate position at a regional distributor based in Omaha or Lincoln builds the sales foundation required for management consideration. A clinical credential such as an RN license or a certified sales professional designation gives candidates a measurable edge in competitive applicant pools.
