Job Summary
We’re are looking in hiring experienced, field‑based commissioning professionals to support active commercial projects in Wisconsin. This role is ideal for mid‑career CX professionals who prefer being onsite, working directly with building systems, contractors, and project teams—not stuck behind a desk.
If your background includes electrical /mechanical building systems and equipment and you enjoy solving real problems in live construction environments, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Work primarily in the field supporting commissioning of mechanical and integrated building systems
- Verify systems are installed, started, tested, and operating per design intent and commissioning plans
- Execute startup verification, functional testing, and integrated system testing
- Participate in or lead onsite commissioning meetings, walkdowns, and system reviews
- Coordinate closely with commissioning engineers, GCs, and trade partners
- Troubleshoot deficiencies, support retesting, and drive system acceptance
- Maintain clear field documentation to support closeout and turnover
What We’re Looking For
- 3-4 years of field experience in commissioning, construction, or building systems
- Hands‑on experience with commercial mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Comfortable working on active construction sites (rooftops, mechanical/electrical rooms, occupied spaces)
- Strong knowledge of startup, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read drawings, sequences of operation, and design intent
- Proficient with tablets, laptops, and field documentation tools
- Controls, scripting, or automation testing experience is a plus
- Self‑directed, detail‑oriented, and confident working independently in the field
Why This Role
- Field‑first position – your expertise is used where it matters most: onsite
- Visible impact – your work directly affects system performance and project success
- Trusted judgment – experienced professionals are empowered, not micromanaged
- Professional, collaborative culture that values experienced field talent
- Long‑term growth on challenging, technically engaging projects
This is a fully onsite, field‑based role supporting commercial projects in Texas.
If you’re looking for a commissioning role where your experience is respected and your work is hands‑on and meaningful, we’d like to hear from you.
