Responsibilities

• Foster a workplace built on integrity, collaboration, accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement while maintaining high ethical standards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and consistently apply safe work practices.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to properly set up, weld, and inspect components according to customer specifications.
• Plan and execute welding operations by understanding part layouts, production sequences, and quality expectations.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, positioning, fitting, and assembling components.
• Select and configure welding equipment based on material type and production requirements.
• Perform MIG welding (TIG experience is a plus) on materials including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and program Fanuc robotic welding systems equipped with Fronius welding power sources.
• Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and product quality.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on welding equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support compliance with quality and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ITAR, OSHA, and other applicable requirements.
• Assist with production activities and take on additional responsibilities as business needs require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years of welding and metal fabrication experience.
• One to three years of experience programming and operating Fanuc robotic welding systems is preferred.
• Experience working with Fronius welding equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to obtain AWS D1.1 welding certification.
• Proven ability to set up and perform MIG welding from engineering drawings; TIG welding experience is beneficial.
• Comfortable working with mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Strong math and measurement skills for inspections and quality verification.
• Commitment to workplace safety, product quality, and ethical conduct.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting production deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform all essential functions of the position.
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods, use hands for repetitive tasks, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, communicate effectively, and maintain visual focus for detailed work.
• Regularly lift, carry, or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
