INTRODUCTION
As a Staff Product Designer, your impact is measured not just by what you ship, but by the evolution of our entire design organization. You will be the visionary who sees across the whole product, identifying patterns no one else has named and creating the frameworks that make every other designer’s work sharper and more coherent.
We are at a category-defining moment, building the AI-native experience layer for a platform that is redefining how marketing gets done. You will define the interaction model for autonomous marketing—a discipline where agents act, humans direct, and the handoff between them feels effortless. This model doesn’t exist yet; you will be the person who builds it here and sets the standard for the entire industry. You are not a recipient of a roadmap; you are a driver of product strategy, holding the full system in your head while making surgical decisions at the detail level.
On a typical day, you might:
- Define the next paradigm for Autonomous Agent experiences, developing a point of view on human-AI collaboration at scale and making it legible for every team building on the platform.
- Identify systemic problems before they become failures, operating above the sprint cycle to spot where patterns are diverging or user experience is degrading across team boundaries.
- Drive high-stakes, complex design initiatives that require a deep understanding of how individual details impact the total system architecture.
- Set the quality bar for the design organization, serving as the standard-bearer for craft and thinking that other designers orient around.
- Influence product strategy through design rigor, bringing strategic perspectives that change company priorities and roadmap directions.
- Build reusable frameworks and interaction models that become the shared language between Product, Engineering, and Design.
- Partner with design leadership on organizational direction, hiring standards, and evolving how the design function operates at ActiveCampaign.
- Act as a force multiplier, raising the standards of the team through high-level critique, mentorship, and leading by example in your daily practice.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 8+ years of product design experience with a clear record of increasing organizational and product scope (beyond just seniority in title).
- A portfolio demonstrating cross-product, systems-level impact, showing where your design decisions caused an entire product to cohere rather than just optimizing a single flow.
- Deep expertise in AI-native interaction design, with a rigorous philosophy on the relationship between human intent and automated action.
- Mastery of AI tools as a core design medium; you use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Lovable as essential parts of how you think and prototype, not just as productivity aids.
- The ability to create clarity from chaos, taking highly ambiguous, under-defined problems and turning them into actionable design directions.
- Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to represent the design perspective in high-level rooms and build consensus across the company.
- Organizational influence without authority, moving teams and raising standards through the sheer quality of your thinking and design rigor.
- World-class visual design and "invisible" UX skills, combined with a high degree of ownership over product strategy.
- A proven track record of making other designers better, elevating the team’s collective output through the example of your own practice and critique.
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $150,400 - $206,800 a year

Job Roles at ActiveCampaign Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in ActiveCampaign Visa Sponsorship USA
Focus on roles that align with EB-2 and EB-3 pathways
ActiveCampaign sponsors Green Cards rather than H-1B visas, so target roles that support permanent residency, typically engineering, product, and technical specialist positions where degree requirements are clearly defined and the company has established a sponsorship pattern.
Understand that Green Card sponsorship is a longer commitment
Employer-sponsored Green Cards through EB-2 and EB-3 involve PERM labor certification, which takes time. Approach ActiveCampaign as an employer you plan to stay with, demonstrating long-term interest in the company signals you understand what sponsorship involves.
Target technical and specialist roles in the Technology & Software division
ActiveCampaign's sponsorship history is concentrated in technology roles. Positions requiring specialized knowledge in software, data, or systems are more likely to qualify for the EB-2 or EB-3 classifications the company actively uses for international employees.
Raise sponsorship early in the process, not after an offer
Because ActiveCampaign sponsors permanent residency rather than short-term work visas, recruiters need to assess long-term fit from the start. Mention your need for Green Card sponsorship in your initial application or first screening call, not as an afterthought.
Use a platform that filters by actual sponsorship history
Not all job boards show you which employers have sponsored your visa type before. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm ActiveCampaign has sponsored your specific visa category before you apply.
Highlight your long-term career trajectory in the U.S.
ActiveCampaign's Green Card sponsorship reflects investment in employees who plan to stay. In interviews, frame your professional goals around building a sustained career in marketing technology, showing alignment with the company's products, culture, and long-term growth.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does ActiveCampaign sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, ActiveCampaign has not been an active H-1B sponsor. The company's visa sponsorship activity is concentrated on permanent residency pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards. If you currently hold H-1B status through another employer, you would need to evaluate whether a Green Card-only sponsor meets your immediate work authorization needs before applying.
What visa types does ActiveCampaign sponsor?
ActiveCampaign sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visas, both of which lead to a U.S. Green Card. The EB-2 category generally applies to professionals with advanced degrees or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers skilled workers with a qualifying bachelor's degree and relevant experience. Neither pathway provides immediate work authorization, sponsorship typically begins after you've joined the company and established yourself in the role.
Which roles or departments at ActiveCampaign are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
ActiveCampaign's sponsorship activity is most commonly associated with technical and specialist roles in engineering, software development, and related technology functions. These positions tend to have well-defined degree requirements and specialized skill sets that support EB-2 and EB-3 eligibility. If you're in a generalist or business operations role, sponsorship is less common, though not impossible if the position meets PERM labor certification criteria.
How do I find open roles at ActiveCampaign that are open to visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search and filter jobs by employer sponsorship history, so you can see exactly which ActiveCampaign roles have been associated with visa sponsorship in the past. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying and wondering whether a company will support your immigration needs. Browse ActiveCampaign's open positions on Migrate Mate to identify roles that match both your skills and your sponsorship requirements.
How do I approach the application process at ActiveCampaign as an international candidate?
Be transparent about your need for Green Card sponsorship from the first point of contact. Because ActiveCampaign's sponsorship process involves permanent residency, not a temporary work visa, recruiters will want to assess long-term fit early. Tailor your application to demonstrate deep alignment with the company's marketing automation product space, highlight any specialized technical expertise, and be prepared to discuss your immigration timeline and current work authorization status during initial screening.
