Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Operations Jobs at Airgas Jobs
Frame your resume around industrial sales support
Airgas Sales Operations roles center on pricing analysis, contract administration, and CRM management for chemical and gas distribution. Align your resume to these functions explicitly, not generic sales ops language, so hiring managers can connect your background to their operational model.
Target roles tied to regional distribution hubs
Airgas structures its sales operations regionally across the U.S. Focusing your search on locations with major distribution infrastructure, such as the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, increases your chances of finding open roles with stronger internal headcount and more established HR sponsorship workflows.
Confirm sponsorship intent before the final interview round
Ask the recruiter directly whether the role is approved for H-1B sponsorship before you invest in a full interview process. Airgas's sponsorship decisions can vary by business unit, so getting written confirmation early prevents wasted time on positions that won't support your visa.
Account for LCA filing in your start date negotiations
Before USCIS can approve an H-1B petition, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and receive certification. This step alone can take two to four weeks. Build that window into any start date you negotiate so your offer doesn't lapse while paperwork clears.
Search open Airgas Sales Operations roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Airgas's current Sales Operations openings by visa sponsorship eligibility. It removes the guesswork of identifying which postings are open to sponsored candidates, so you can focus your applications on roles where sponsorship is already on the table.
Highlight CRM and ERP proficiency in your application materials
Airgas relies heavily on SAP and Salesforce across its sales operations function. Calling out hands-on experience with these platforms in your cover letter and resume signals immediate operational fit, which matters when an employer is weighing the added cost and effort of sponsoring a visa.

Find Sales Operations at Airgas JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Airgas sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Operations?
Yes, Airgas has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales Operations roles. Sponsorship availability can vary by position, business unit, and hiring cycle, so confirming directly with the recruiter is the right move. Roles tied to pricing, contract management, and CRM operations within the chemicals and industrial gas distribution side of the business have historically been more likely to include sponsorship.
How do I apply for Sales Operations jobs at Airgas?
You can apply through Airgas's careers page or find sponsorship-eligible openings filtered by role and visa type on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your materials to Airgas's distribution-focused sales model, specifically pricing analysis, order management, and account support. Referencing relevant tools like SAP or Salesforce in your application increases your visibility with hiring managers screening for operational fit.
Which visa types does Airgas commonly use for Sales Operations roles?
Airgas sponsors both H-1B nonimmigrant visas and employment-based immigrant visas, including EB-2 and EB-3 categories, for eligible candidates. H-1B is typically the starting point for Sales Operations professionals entering on a work visa, while EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship generally comes after you've established tenure and the employer initiates the PERM labor certification process with the DOL.
What qualifications does Airgas expect for Sales Operations roles?
Most Airgas Sales Operations positions require a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, along with hands-on experience in pricing, contract administration, or CRM management. Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is a recurring requirement. Candidates with a background in chemicals, industrial distribution, or manufacturing tend to stand out because the role involves supporting customers and field sales teams in a highly specialized product environment.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take once I have an offer from Airgas?
The timeline depends on when in the year you receive the offer. If your petition falls under the annual H-1B cap, USCIS only accepts cap-subject petitions in April for an October 1 start date, and selection is by lottery. For cap-exempt situations or premium processing, approvals can come faster, typically within 15 business days of USCIS receiving the petition. Factor in the DOL's Labor Condition Application certification, which typically adds two to four weeks before the H-1B petition can even be filed.
