Frame your resume for field-service operations
Groundworks runs regional service branches, so Sales Operations experience tied to territory management, CRM administration, or field team support reads stronger than corporate ops backgrounds. Align your resume language to distributed service operations before you apply.
Confirm H-2B scope before your interview
H-2B sponsorship is tied to temporary or seasonal workforce needs, not permanent salaried roles. Clarify early whether the Sales Operations position is structured as a permanent hire, since your visa pathway depends entirely on how the role is classified.
Target regional hubs with active hiring pipelines
Groundworks operates through dozens of regional offices. Applying to locations with open Sales Operations requisitions signals active hiring intent and raises the likelihood a recruiter is authorized to initiate sponsorship conversations rather than escalating for approval.
Get your employment documents verified early
Groundworks uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization at onboarding. Gather your passport, prior visa approvals, and any existing EAD or I-94 records before your offer stage so you can move quickly once HR initiates the process.
Ask HR which petitions their immigration counsel handles
Facilities services companies often work with immigration counsel experienced in H-2B or H-1B filings for operations roles. Asking the HR contact which petition types their legal team has filed for Sales Operations roles tells you what pathway is actually on the table.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Sales Operations roles
Sponsorship-eligible Sales Operations openings at companies like Groundworks move quickly and aren't always flagged on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified visa-sponsoring employers in the facilities and property services space and apply before roles close.

Find Sales Operations at Groundworks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Groundworks sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Operations?
Groundworks' documented sponsorship activity for Sales Operations sits primarily in the H-2B category, which covers temporary non-agricultural workers. H-1B sponsorship is possible for Sales Operations roles if the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, but you'll need to confirm directly with the hiring team whether that classification applies to the specific role you're targeting.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Operations roles at Groundworks?
H-2B is the visa type most associated with Groundworks' sponsorship activity, designed for temporary positions tied to specific workforce needs. If you're pursuing a permanent, salaried Sales Operations role, an H-1B or employer-sponsored Green Card pathway through PERM labor certification may be more appropriate, depending on your qualifications and how the position is structured.
What qualifications or experience does Groundworks expect for Sales Operations roles?
Groundworks operates a regional field service model, so Sales Operations candidates who can demonstrate experience with CRM platforms, sales territory coordination, or service dispatch workflows tend to advance further. A background in facilities services, home services, or similarly distributed operations businesses strengthens your application. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field supports specialty occupation classification if H-1B sponsorship becomes relevant.
How do I apply for Sales Operations jobs at Groundworks?
You can apply through Groundworks' careers page directly or through Migrate Mate, which surfaces visa-sponsoring Sales Operations openings in the facilities and property services sector. When applying, be transparent about your visa status in the application so the recruiting team can route your file to HR contacts authorized to discuss sponsorship. Following up within a week of applying improves response rates for sponsored roles.
How do I plan my timeline around Groundworks' sponsorship process?
H-2B petitions require DOL certification before USCIS can adjudicate the I-129 petition, which adds several months to the process. For H-1B, USCIS standard processing runs three to five months, with premium processing available for a faster decision. Start the sponsorship conversation with HR as early as possible, ideally during the offer stage, so your employer can engage immigration counsel before your current work authorization expires.
