Tailor your resume to field sales metrics
Groundworks evaluates inside sales candidates on conversion rates and appointment-setting performance, not just tenure. Quantify your close rate, outbound call volume, and any experience selling home services or facility improvement products to homeowners or property managers.
Verify your eligibility for H-2B classification
Inside Sales Representative roles at Groundworks have been sponsored under the H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker visa. Confirm your home country is on DOL's eligible country list before applying, since H-2B sponsorship is restricted to nationals of designated countries.
Target Groundworks markets with active hiring
Groundworks operates across dozens of regional service territories. Focus your applications on markets where the company is actively expanding, such as the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, or Midwest, where staffing demand for inside sales roles tends to run highest and sponsorship decisions move faster.
Ask about visa filing timelines during offer stage
H-2B petitions follow a DOL-certified temporary labor need and are tied to specific seasonal or peak-demand periods. When you receive an offer, ask your recruiter directly when the petition window opens and what your target start date is, so you can plan your status transition accordingly.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles quickly
Groundworks posts Inside Sales Representative openings frequently across its regional markets. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Groundworks roles tied to visa sponsorship so you're applying to positions where the company has already indicated willingness to sponsor.
Prepare for E-Verify onboarding requirements upfront
Groundworks participates in E-Verify, which means your work authorization documents are verified electronically on your first day. Have your I-94, visa documentation, and any supporting USCIS approval notices organized and ready before your start date to avoid onboarding delays.

Find Inside Sales Representative at Groundworks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Groundworks sponsor H-1B visas for Inside Sales Representatives?
H-1B sponsorship for Inside Sales Representative roles at Groundworks is unlikely. The H-1B visa is reserved for specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, and inside sales roles in the home services industry generally do not meet that threshold. Groundworks has historically sponsored temporary work visas under other classifications for this function.
Which visa types does Groundworks commonly use for Inside Sales Representatives?
Groundworks has sponsored Inside Sales Representative roles under the H-2B temporary nonagricultural worker visa, which is designed for positions tied to seasonal or peak-load demand. This visa requires DOL certification confirming the temporary nature of the need before USCIS adjudicates the petition. Eligibility depends on your nationality, since H-2B is limited to nationals of DOL-designated countries.
What qualifications does Groundworks expect for Inside Sales Representative roles?
Groundworks typically looks for candidates with demonstrable experience in phone-based or in-home sales, ideally within residential services, home improvement, or facilities management. Strong performance in appointment setting, objection handling, and CRM usage are consistently valued. A background in foundation repair, waterproofing, or related trades is a plus but not required at the entry level.
How do I apply for Inside Sales Representative jobs at Groundworks?
You can find open Inside Sales Representative positions at Groundworks through Migrate Mate, which aggregates visa-sponsoring employers and lets you filter by role and company. Apply directly through the posting, making sure your resume highlights sales metrics and any relevant home services experience. Groundworks recruits regionally, so applying to the market closest to where you intend to work will increase your response rate.
How do I understand the timeline for H-2B sponsorship at Groundworks?
H-2B sponsorship follows a strict DOL-driven calendar. Your employer must file a temporary labor certification with DOL before submitting the USCIS petition, and the process is tied to your anticipated start date. Because H-2B has an annual cap, petitions are often filed months in advance. Clarify the expected start date and filing window with your Groundworks recruiter as early as possible in the offer process.
