Frame Your LCA Documentation Early
Groundworks operates across multiple regional markets, so your Labor Condition Application wage level needs to match the prevailing wage for the specific metro where you'd be placed. Pull DOL wage data for your target region before your first interview.
Highlight Multi-Site Coordination Experience
Customer Operations Manager roles at Groundworks span scheduling, subcontractor oversight, and customer escalation handling across service territories. Employers in facilities services prioritize candidates who've managed distributed teams or multiple job sites, so lead with that in your application materials.
Verify Your Work Authorization Timing Against H-2B Caps
The H-2B program has a statutory annual cap, and Groundworks has used it for operations roles. Confirm with your prospective hiring manager whether the filing window aligns with your current status expiry so you're not caught in a cap gap.
Target Groundworks Branches in High-Growth Markets
Groundworks expands aggressively through acquisitions, meaning newly integrated branches often have immediate operational leadership gaps. Targeting locations that recently came under the Groundworks umbrella increases your odds of landing an open Customer Operations Manager seat with sponsorship flexibility.
Confirm E-Verify Enrollment Before Accepting an Offer
As a federal contractor operating in regulated property services, Groundworks participates in E-Verify. Before you accept an offer, confirm your work authorization documents will clear the E-Verify process cleanly to avoid onboarding delays that can affect your start date and petition timing.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Active Openings by Region
Customer Operations Manager postings at Groundworks rotate frequently by service area. Use Migrate Mate to filter active roles by location and sponsorship type so you're applying to positions where the sponsorship pathway matches your current visa situation.

Find Customer Operations Manager at Groundworks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Groundworks sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Operations Managers?
Groundworks' primary sponsorship activity for Customer Operations Manager roles has been through the H-2B program rather than H-1B. H-1B sponsorship is more common for roles that require a specific bachelor's degree in a specialty field, and operational management positions in facilities services don't always meet USCIS's specialty occupation threshold. If you're pursuing an H-1B, confirm with the hiring team whether your specific role qualifies before proceeding.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Operations Manager roles at Groundworks?
The H-2B nonimmigrant visa is the category Groundworks has used for operations-focused roles in the facilities and property services space. H-2B covers temporary non-agricultural workers in positions where a genuine seasonal or project-based workforce need exists. If you're on a different status, such as OPT or a dependent EAD, those can also provide a bridge while a longer-term petition is evaluated with the employer.
What qualifications and experience does Groundworks expect for Customer Operations Manager roles?
Groundworks looks for candidates with direct experience managing field service teams, customer escalation workflows, and scheduling across multiple locations. Familiarity with CRM platforms and service dispatch systems is a practical advantage. A background in residential or commercial property services, construction, or facilities management carries more weight than a generalist operations background because the day-to-day involves coordinating crews in homes and job sites, not office environments.
How do I apply for Customer Operations Manager jobs at Groundworks?
You can browse and apply for Customer Operations Manager openings at Groundworks through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type and region so you can identify positions that align with your work authorization. When you apply, tailor your resume to field service coordination and multi-site team management. Groundworks' regional hiring managers move quickly on operational roles, so following up within a week of submitting is standard practice.
How long does the sponsorship and onboarding process take for this role at Groundworks?
Timeline depends heavily on which visa category applies to your situation. H-2B petitions are tied to DOL certification and USCIS processing, which together can take two to four months before a start date is approved. If you're already authorized to work and the sponsorship is for a future status change, you may be able to start sooner under your current authorization. Align your offer acceptance with your current status expiry to avoid gaps.
