Frame Your Experience Around Distribution Channels
Applied Industrial Technologies looks for partnership managers who understand industrial distribution networks, not just general business development. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with channel partners, supplier relationships, or MRO market segments before you apply.
Target Roles in Underserved Regional Markets
Applied Industrial Technologies operates through a national branch network. Roles in less competitive regional markets often move faster through internal approval and toward sponsorship decisions, so prioritize those openings alongside major metro listings.
Request a Sponsorship Timeline During Offer Negotiation
Ask the hiring manager or recruiter directly when the PERM labor certification process would begin after your start date. Companies vary widely on how quickly they initiate DOL filings, and knowing their internal timeline helps you plan your status transitions.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Open Roles by Sponsorship History
Search for Partnership Development Manager openings at Applied Industrial Technologies on Migrate Mate to surface roles at a company with a documented track record of EB-2 and EB-3 filings for this function, saving you time on due diligence.
Prepare for a Lengthy PERM Advertising Period
DOL requires employers to complete a supervised recruitment phase before filing PERM, which can take several months before the petition is even submitted to USCIS. Build that window into your visa status planning so you're not caught short on authorized work time.

Find Partnership Development Manager at Applied Industrial Technologies JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Applied Industrial Technologies sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
Applied Industrial Technologies' documented sponsorship activity for Partnership Development Manager roles focuses on employment-based Green Card categories, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B nonimmigrant petitions. If you're currently on H-1B status with another employer, you'd typically need to transfer that status before pursuing the PERM-based Green Card pathway with Applied Industrial Technologies.
Which visa types are commonly used for Partnership Development Manager roles at Applied Industrial Technologies?
The sponsorship pathway at Applied Industrial Technologies for this role runs through the employment-based immigrant visa categories, EB-2 for positions requiring advanced degrees or exceptional ability and EB-3 for roles meeting standard professional qualifications. Both pathways require the employer to complete a PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications or experience are expected for a Partnership Development Manager at Applied Industrial Technologies?
Applied Industrial Technologies typically seeks candidates with a background in industrial distribution, MRO procurement, or B2B sales within manufacturing or professional services environments. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or engineering is common for this level, and prior experience managing strategic channel partnerships or supplier programs significantly strengthens your candidacy for both the role and the sponsorship case.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at Applied Industrial Technologies?
You can browse current Partnership Development Manager openings at Applied Industrial Technologies directly on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles at employers with confirmed sponsorship activity. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply through Applied Industrial Technologies' careers portal and be transparent about your need for employment-based sponsorship early in the recruiter screening call to avoid surprises later in the process.
How do I plan my timeline around the Green Card process at Applied Industrial Technologies?
The PERM labor certification phase alone can take six months to a year before the EB-2 or EB-3 petition is filed with USCIS. Add USCIS adjudication time and, depending on your country of birth, potential priority date backlogs. Start the conversation with your employer about initiating the process as early as your first year of employment to maximize how much of the timeline you can absorb while maintaining valid work authorization.
