Frame Your Resume Around Dealership Operations
Asbury's Manufacturing roles often support high-volume service bays and parts departments rather than traditional factory floors. Tailor your resume to highlight automotive service workflow, inventory management, or equipment maintenance experience so your background maps directly to dealership needs.
Target Locations With Active Hiring Pipelines
Asbury operates dealerships across multiple states with uneven staffing demand. Cross-reference the company's open Manufacturing listings by region and focus applications on locations showing sustained postings, which signals a genuine operational need rather than a placeholder requisition.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 Distinction Early
Asbury has sponsored both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for Manufacturing roles. EB-3 is more common for trade and technical positions, while EB-2 requires proving advanced degree equivalency. Clarify which category aligns with your credentials before your first recruiter conversation.
Ask Directly About PERM Labor Certification Timelines
Permanent residency sponsorship through PERM requires DOL to certify no qualified U.S. workers are available. Processing currently runs over a year at DOL. Raise this timeline explicitly with the hiring manager so both sides align on expectations before you accept an offer.
Browse Verified Sponsoring Employers on Migrate Mate
Filtering for Manufacturing roles at companies with documented Green Card sponsorship history narrows your search considerably. Use Migrate Mate to identify Asbury positions that match your function and confirm sponsorship eligibility before investing time in the application process.
Prepare Credential Documentation Before Interviews
Asbury's onboarding process includes E-Verify employment eligibility checks. Have your educational transcripts, professional certifications, and any prior U.S. work authorization documents organized and ready. Delays in producing these after an offer can stall the petition filing process significantly.

Find Manufacturing at Asbury Automotive Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Asbury Automotive Group sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturings?
Asbury Automotive Group's documented sponsorship activity for Manufacturing roles has been focused on permanent residency pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, rather than H-1B visas. Manufacturing and trades positions in the automotive dealership sector generally don't require the specialized theoretical degree background that H-1B eligibility demands, so permanent residency sponsorship is the more realistic path for this function at Asbury.
Which visa types are commonly used for Manufacturing roles at Asbury Automotive Group?
EB-3 is the most applicable category for Manufacturing roles at Asbury, covering skilled workers and positions requiring at least two years of training or experience. EB-2 may apply if your role requires an advanced degree or you can demonstrate exceptional ability. Both pathways require PERM labor certification filed with the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate the immigrant petition.
What qualifications and experience does Asbury Automotive Group expect for Manufacturing roles?
Asbury's Manufacturing openings typically require hands-on experience in automotive service environments, parts operations, or facilities maintenance rather than traditional manufacturing plant backgrounds. Certifications such as ASE credentials are valued for technical roles. Familiarity with dealership management systems and high-throughput service bay workflows strengthens your candidacy significantly compared to general industrial experience.
How do I apply for Manufacturing jobs at Asbury Automotive Group?
You can find and apply for Asbury Automotive Group Manufacturing positions through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles with verified sponsorship history so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When you apply, be upfront about your need for sponsorship in your cover communication. Asbury's HR teams handle sponsorship determinations at the business unit level, so getting in front of a hiring manager early in the process matters.
How do I estimate the timeline for Green Card sponsorship through a Manufacturing role at Asbury?
The process typically starts with PERM labor certification at the DOL, which currently takes over a year. Once certified, your employer files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS, and your priority date must become current before you can file for adjustment of status. For EB-3 applicants from high-demand countries, the full process from PERM filing to Green Card approval can extend several years depending on your country of birth and visa bulletin movement.
