POSITION OVERVIEW
The Office of the CRO moves fast, operates across ambiguity, and touches the most consequential priorities in our sales organization. To scale that work, we're hiring a Senior Program Manager who will function as a true extension of the Chief of Staff to the CRO — someone who can pick up a half-formed idea and turn it into a crisp framework, a sharp deck, and a stakeholder plan.
This is not a role for someone who needs a defined playbook. It's a role for a seasoned operator who brings their own structure to undefined problems, earns trust without relying on formal authority, and takes genuine pride in making others look brilliant. You'll be embedded in the highest-priority work of the sales org — from culture and peak performance initiatives to CRO leadership sessions to strategic coordination — and you'll be the engine that keeps it all moving.
We are open to candidates based in the United States and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end design, rollout, and adoption of core sales culture initiatives
- Build structure, momentum, and accountability frameworks that make programs stick beyond launch
- Partner with sales leadership and enablement to ensure initiatives land in the field — not just on paper
- Coordinate inputs, documentation, and reporting across key strategic initiatives
- Maintain visibility and alignment for the CRO and Chief of Staff without becoming a heavy centralized PMO function
- Step into selective initiative ownership when the work calls for it
- Translate early-stage CRO ideas into polished, executive-ready narratives and decks
- Bring genuine craft to the work — clean structure, sharp visual hierarchy, and the ability to make a complicated idea feel obvious
- Build scalable templates and reusable frameworks that accelerate future work across the org
- Own regular check-ins and reporting on the status of key sales org priorities
- Synthesize progress, surface risks, and keep stakeholders oriented — without generating noise for noise's sake
- Design and facilitate workshops and working sessions for the sales team
- Ensure every session has a clear purpose, tight design, and outputs that actually drive action
- Step into ambiguous, cross-functional problems and create clarity and forward motion
- Serve as a trusted second set of hands for the Chief of Staff across a wide and shifting range of priorities
- Build relationships across the sales org that create influence and unlock execution without relying on title or authority
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in consulting, Chief of Staff functions, sales enablement, or senior program operations
- Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous, executive-level priorities and build them into structured, actionable programs
- Exceptional slide craft — strong visual thinker with the ability to make complex narratives land with a senior audience
- Strong EQ and executive presence; experienced operating in rooms where you may be the most junior person
- Bias toward execution — you care whether things actually land, not just whether they were well-designed
- Proven ability to work across senior stakeholders without formal authority, earning influence through quality and reliability
- Comfortable generating your own structure and moving forward in the absence of a clear brief or constant direction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience supporting a senior GTM leader directly
- Background in sales culture, organizational transformation, or performance culture initiatives
- Familiarity with sales motion or GTM operating rhythms
- Experience in or exposure to Chief of Staff functions, with an interest in growing as a senior operator within a revenue or GTM organization
- Prior people management experience (not required, but indicative of the leadership maturity we're looking for)

Align your resume to Autodesk's delivery frameworks
Autodesk Project Program Manager roles emphasize Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies across software product lines. Tailor your resume to show experience managing cross-functional engineering or product programs, not just traditional project coordination, before applying.
Verify your visa type against Autodesk's sponsored categories
Autodesk sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, and Green Card pathways. Confirm which category matches your citizenship and timeline before outreach, since the sponsorship process and employer burden differ significantly across these visa types.
Target open roles that show active program complexity
Use Migrate Mate to filter Autodesk's open Project Program Manager listings by team and scope. Roles tied to product launches or platform integrations signal active headcount demand and stronger sponsorship intent than backfill positions.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before your final round
Raise your visa situation no later than the offer stage. Autodesk's recruiting teams are familiar with immigration sponsorship for technical roles, so asking directly whether they can support your specific status avoids surprises during offer negotiations.
Prepare a PMP or equivalent credential before interviews
Autodesk lists PMP certification or equivalent program management credentials as preferred for these roles. Having it documented before your interview removes a common screening gap and strengthens your case when the team is evaluating sponsorship investment.

Find Project Program Manager at Autodesk JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Autodesk sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, Autodesk sponsors H-1B visas for Project Program Manager roles. The company has an established immigration program and works with legal counsel to file petitions for qualified candidates. Because H-1B sponsorship involves employer cost and administrative commitment, Autodesk typically extends this support to candidates who clear the full interview process and receive a formal offer.
Which visa types does Autodesk commonly sponsor for Project Program Manager roles?
Autodesk sponsors a range of visa categories for this function, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, J-1, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your citizenship, degree, and where you are in your immigration timeline.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at Autodesk?
Applications go through Autodesk's careers portal. Search for Project Program Manager openings filtered by location and team. To find roles that explicitly support visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate, which surfaces Autodesk's open positions alongside sponsorship history for the role type. Tailor your application to reflect program delivery experience in software or SaaS environments, since Autodesk prioritizes candidates with direct technology product exposure.
What qualifications does Autodesk look for in Project Program Manager candidates?
Autodesk typically looks for a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field, combined with experience managing cross-functional programs in a technology or software organization. PMP certification is often listed as preferred. Familiarity with Agile delivery, roadmap coordination across product and engineering teams, and experience with tools like Jira or Confluence strengthens your profile significantly.
How do I plan my timeline if Autodesk agrees to sponsor my H-1B?
If your offer comes through and you're subject to the H-1B cap, USCIS accepts registrations each March for an April lottery selection, with employment start dates no earlier than October 1. That means a gap of six or more months between offer and start is common. If you're already on F-1 OPT, you can begin working while the petition is pending, provided your OPT remains valid and your employer files on time.
