Frame your credentials around client-facing consulting outcomes
BKF Engineers hires Partnership Development Managers to grow revenue in infrastructure and engineering consulting. When preparing your resume and portfolio, lead with metrics around client acquisition, account retention, and project pipeline development rather than general business development language.
Target BKF Engineers roles across multiple office locations
BKF Engineers operates across California and beyond, and Partnership Development Manager openings are distributed across regional offices. Applying to multiple locations significantly improves your chances, since sponsorship decisions are often made at the hiring-manager level within each office.
Understand the PERM labor certification timeline upfront
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship both require PERM certification through DOL before an immigrant petition is filed. For a consulting firm like BKF Engineers, this process typically takes 12 to 18 months, so raise your sponsorship needs early in the offer negotiation stage.
Clarify sponsorship intent before your first-round interview
Consulting firms often pause sponsorship conversations until after an offer is extended. For Partnership Development Manager roles at BKF Engineers, ask your recruiter during the screening call whether the position is open to candidates requiring EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship to avoid late-stage surprises.
Use Migrate Mate to filter live Partnership Development Manager openings
Identifying which BKF Engineers offices are actively hiring for this role is the hardest part. Search Migrate Mate to filter verified Partnership Development Manager positions at BKF Engineers by location and sponsorship eligibility, saving you time on unverified listings.
Prepare professional licensing documentation relevant to engineering consulting
BKF Engineers values candidates who understand technical delivery alongside business development. Even in a partnership role, having a PE license or familiarity with California infrastructure projects strengthens your application and signals credibility with the engineering teams you will represent to clients.

Does BKF Engineers sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
BKF Engineers' documented sponsorship activity for Partnership Development Manager roles is focused on EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways rather than H-1B nonimmigrant visas. If you currently hold H-1B status through another employer, you could transfer it to BKF Engineers, but the company's own sponsorship track record for this function sits firmly in the permanent residency category.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at BKF Engineers?
Start by browsing active Partnership Development Manager openings at BKF Engineers through Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsorship-eligible listings. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly through BKF Engineers' careers portal. Tailor your application to highlight client development experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, or technical consulting services, as these are the sectors where BKF Engineers primarily operates.
Which visa types does BKF Engineers use to sponsor Partnership Development Managers?
BKF Engineers sponsors Partnership Development Managers through employment-based immigrant visa categories, specifically EB-2 for roles requiring an advanced degree or exceptional ability, and EB-3 for positions requiring a bachelor's degree and skilled work experience. Both pathways require DOL PERM labor certification before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition, making early planning essential.
What qualifications does BKF Engineers expect for Partnership Development Manager roles?
BKF Engineers typically looks for candidates with a background in civil or structural engineering, urban planning, or a related technical discipline, combined with demonstrated experience growing client accounts in a consulting or professional services environment. A bachelor's degree in a related field is generally the floor for EB-3 eligibility, while an advanced degree or specialized expertise supports an EB-2 filing.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for this role at BKF Engineers?
For EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, expect the full process to run 18 to 36 months or longer depending on your country of birth and USCIS processing backlogs. The DOL PERM stage alone takes 12 to 18 months. Candidates born in countries with high demand for employment-based visas should check USCIS priority date movement before accepting a sponsored offer to calibrate realistic timelines.
