Frame your credentials around channel partnerships
Schneider Electric's Partnership Development roles center on channel programs, distributor networks, and system integrator relationships in industrial and energy sectors. Tailor your resume to show measurable alliance outcomes in manufacturing or industrial technology, not just general business development experience.
Target roles tied to specific business divisions
Schneider Electric posts Partnership Development Manager openings across distinct divisions like Power Systems, Industrial Automation, and IT infrastructure. Applying to division-specific postings positions you against a narrower candidate pool and signals genuine industry fit to hiring managers.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before final interview rounds
Schneider Electric's talent acquisition team handles sponsorship decisions internally. Ask your recruiter directly whether the specific role is approved for H-1B or E-3 sponsorship before reaching the offer stage, since sponsorship eligibility can vary by business unit.
Understand how LCA prevailing wage affects your offer
Before your offer is finalized, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying your wage meets the prevailing rate for your location and role. Verify that the offered salary aligns with the Level II or Level III wage for your metro area.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Partnership Development Manager openings at Schneider Electric span multiple locations and divisions, and not every posting reflects current sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter active roles by visa type so you're only applying to positions where your sponsorship pathway is confirmed.
Prepare for PERM documentation early if targeting a Green Card
Schneider Electric supports EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, which require PERM labor certification through the DOL before the immigrant petition can be filed with USCIS. Gather education credentials, performance records, and prior employment documentation well before your H-1B or E-3 renewal cycle creates urgency.

Does Schneider Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Partnership Development Managers?
Yes. Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for Partnership Development Manager roles. The company files petitions through USCIS and manages the process internally through its HR and legal teams. Because sponsorship approvals vary by business unit and location, confirm sponsorship availability with your recruiter before advancing past the initial screening stage.
How do I apply for Partnership Development Manager jobs at Schneider Electric?
Applications go through Schneider Electric's careers portal. Search by function using terms like 'partnership,' 'channel,' or 'alliances' alongside the business segment you're targeting, such as Power Systems or Industrial Automation. You can also browse open Partnership Development Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate, which surfaces only positions where sponsorship has been confirmed.
Which visa types does Schneider Electric commonly use for Partnership Development Manager roles?
Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B and E-3 visas for Partnership Development Manager positions, covering both the initial petition and renewals. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification filed with the DOL, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS.
What qualifications does Schneider Electric expect for Partnership Development Manager roles?
Schneider Electric typically looks for experience managing channel partners, system integrators, or distributors in industrial, energy management, or building automation sectors. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field generally meets the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B and E-3 sponsorship. Demonstrated revenue accountability across a partner ecosystem strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Partnership Development Manager at Schneider Electric?
For H-1B roles, USCIS standard processing runs three to five months after the October 1 cap start date, with premium processing available to reduce that to 15 business days. E-3 visas are processed at the U.S. consulate and typically take two to four weeks. PERM labor certification for Green Card sponsorship adds 12 to 18 months before USCIS receives the immigrant petition.
