Partner Development Manager (PDM), Global Strategic Technology Partnerships
Location: AMER
Reports to: VP, Strategic Technology Partners
About the role
You'll work with some of the biggest technology companies in the world: AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and Shopify. As our AMER PDM for tech partners, you'll turn global partnership strategy into regional-specific execution in AMER that drives pipeline and revenue for Braze while feeding each partner's own commercial model.
You'll work most closely with our Global Account Leaders, who own the global relationship with a single partner (for example, the AWS global relationship owner), and our Partner Sales Managers (PSMs), who own partner activity on specific Braze customer opportunities.
What you'll do
Execute regional partner development strategies
- Work closely with global account leads to translate global partner strategies into AMER-specific execution.
- Own delivery of regional programmes that unlock new revenue opportunities for both Braze and the partner.
- Deepen partner relationships beyond the partnerships org, into industry and vertical sales leadership.
Own AMER AWS Marketplace growth
- Grow new business transacted through AWS Marketplace, moving Braze's engagement from reactive to proactive.
- Own the commercial levers behind marketplace growth: co-sell relationships, pipeline quality, and partner funding and incentive programmes.
Enablement and evangelism
- Champion Braze inside partner field organisations and build the case for why partner sellers should bring Braze into their accounts.
- Enable Braze sellers on when and why marketplace is the right route for a deal, and evangelise joint wins across both organisations.
What success looks like
- Pipeline: PQLs plus sourced and influenced closed-won business, growing quarter over quarter and year over year across your assigned GSPs.
- Marketplace: more ACV/TCV and transaction volume through AWS, Google Cloud, and eventually Snowflake marketplaces and field sales programs.
- Field engagement: Braze AEs, CPLs, and partner field reps actually running marketplace motions, not just hearing about them.
- Operations: clean, accurate partner pipeline data and a healthy partner referral flow.
What we're looking for
- 3 to 5 years in partnerships, business development, or cloud sales at a SaaS company.
- Hands-on experience with hyperscaler and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Snowflake), including the funding and incentive programs around them.
- Experience managing pipeline, forecasts, and sales motions in Salesforce.
- The trust-building skills to run joint GTM plays with partner field teams, and the operational discipline to keep the data behind them clean.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, and comfort working across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product.
Why Join Braze
At Braze, we're building the customer engagement platform of the future. Our GSP ecosystem with AWS, Google, Snowflake, Databricks, and Shopify represents a critical growth engine for Braze. As a Partner Development Lead, you'll be on the front lines of driving this growth, shaping how we engage with partners regionally, and ensuring that marketplace and field sales motions are a consistent source of new revenue, influence, and scale.
For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $96,000 and $130,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $128,000 and $183,000/year (including bonus or commission). Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this role qualifies for a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSUs) so that you will own a piece of our company.

We're committed to offering all candidates a fair, accessible, and inclusive experience – regardless of age, color, disability, gender identity, marital status, maternity, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or status as a protected veteran. When applying and interviewing with Braze, we want you to feel comfortable showcasing what makes you you.
We know that sometimes different circumstances can lead talented people to hesitate to apply for a role unless they meet 100% of the criteria. If this sounds familiar, we encourage you to apply, as we'd love to meet you.
OUR AI-POWERED BRAZE RECRUITMENT PROCESS
At Braze, we're committed to a fair and transparent candidate experience. To help our recruitment teams focus on what matters most — the person behind each application — we use AI-assisted tools at certain stages of our recruitment process.
This includes using AI to analyze the experience, skills and qualifications in your application materials to help with screening and prioritizing candidates. Such screening may amount to a form of solely automated decision-making. We also use AI for administrative support, like scheduling and recording interviews and summarizing interview notes. Our recruiting teams remain responsible for all hiring decisions and are involved throughout the process.
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request further information about how AI is used in our recruitment process, to opt out of AI-assisted review, to request a manual review of any decision made or to contest a decision.

Pursuant to New York City Local Law 144, for roles based in New York City, or if you reside in New York City, you have the right to request an alternative selection process or a reasonable accommodation instead of AI-assisted review. Please submit any such request to our Talent Acquisition team at talentdata.privacy@braze.com promptly after applying. A summary of the most recent bias audit results for such tool is available here.

Align your stack with Braze's infrastructure
Braze runs high-throughput, event-driven systems at scale. Before applying, make sure your resume reflects hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud-native CI/CD pipelines. Generic DevOps experience won't differentiate you in a competitive engineering pipeline.
Target roles flagged for visa eligibility
Not every Senior DevOps opening at Braze will have an active sponsorship budget. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Braze roles that list visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions where the hiring team has already committed to the process.
Get your specialty occupation documentation ready
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Gather transcripts, degree equivalency evaluations if needed, and a detailed job description that maps your engineering specialization directly to the offered DevOps responsibilities at Braze.
Ask about sponsorship scope during early interviews
Braze operates across engineering sub-functions, and sponsorship decisions can vary by team and headcount cycle. During initial recruiter screens, clarify whether the specific team is set up to file for your visa category before advancing through multiple interview rounds.
Understand how PERM timelines affect your start date
If you're targeting Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3, DOL's PERM audit process can add months to the timeline. Factor this into your offer negotiation, especially if you're transitioning off OPT or another time-limited status.
Demonstrate experience with marketing tech scale challenges
Braze processes billions of messages and events for enterprise clients. Showcasing incident response experience, observability tooling, and infrastructure work at comparable data volumes signals you can contribute immediately, which strengthens the internal business case for sponsorship.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Braze sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Devops Engineers?
Yes, Braze sponsors H-1B visas for Senior DevOps Engineers. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation given the degree requirements in computer science or a related engineering field. Sponsorship availability can vary by team and hiring cycle, so confirming directly with the recruiter early in the process is the most reliable approach.
How do I apply for Senior Devops Engineer jobs at Braze?
You can find Senior DevOps Engineer openings at Braze that include visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles open to international candidates. Once you identify a suitable opening, apply through Braze's careers portal. Tailoring your application to Braze's infrastructure stack and marketing technology context significantly improves your chances of moving through the process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Senior Devops Engineer roles at Braze?
Braze sponsors several visa categories for engineering roles, including H-1B, E-3 visa for Australian citizens, TN visa for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students, J-1 visa for exchange visitors, and immigrant visa pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for candidates pursuing permanent residence. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and current immigration status.
What qualifications does Braze expect for Senior Devops Engineer roles?
Braze's Senior DevOps Engineer roles typically require a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a closely related field, along with substantial hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure at scale. Proficiency with container orchestration platforms, infrastructure-as-code tools, and observability systems is expected. Experience supporting high-throughput, low-latency systems in a SaaS or marketing technology environment is a strong differentiator.
How do I plan my timeline for H-1B sponsorship at Braze?
The H-1B cap-subject lottery opens in March each year, with approved petitions taking effect October 1. If you're on F-1 OPT when you receive an offer, you may qualify for a cap-gap extension that covers you through September 30. Confirming your offer and filing timeline with Braze's immigration counsel well before the March registration window is essential to avoid gaps in work authorization.
