Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Senior Project Management Jobs at CBRE Jobs
Align Your Credentials With PMP or CCM
CBRE's Senior PM roles in construction and real estate routinely require professional certifications. Having a PMP or Certified Construction Manager credential on your resume signals you meet the specialty occupation threshold that supports H-1B eligibility from the outset.
Target CBRE's Occupier and Project Management Lines
CBRE operates distinct business lines. The Project Management and Turner and Townsend divisions generate consistent senior-level hiring. Filter your search to these practice areas, where international sponsorship has historically been more common than in brokerage-facing roles.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Active CBRE Openings
CBRE posts Senior PM roles across regions at varying times. Use Migrate Mate to track open positions at CBRE filtered by sponsorship eligibility, so you're applying when roles are live rather than after they close.
Prepare a U.S.-Format Resume Emphasizing Project Scale
CBRE evaluates Senior PM candidates heavily on the dollar value and complexity of projects managed. Structure your resume around quantified project scope, not just responsibilities. A U.S.-format one-to-two page resume outperforms a CV in their applicant tracking system.
Clarify Your Visa Timeline Before the Offer Stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT expiry and whether you have a STEM extension available. CBRE's HR team needs to assess cap-subject H-1B timing early. A mismatch between your work authorization end date and the April H-1B filing window can delay or complicate your start date.
Understand How the LCA Affects Your Offer Location
CBRE operates in hundreds of U.S. markets. The DOL Labor Condition Application ties your H-1B to a specific worksite. If your role requires travel or relocation between regions, confirm with CBRE's immigration team how multi-site or short-term assignment work is handled under your petition.

Find Senior Project Management at CBRE JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does CBRE sponsor H-1B visas for Senior Project Managements?
Yes, CBRE sponsors H-1B visas for Senior Project Management roles. These positions typically qualify as specialty occupations because they require at minimum a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. CBRE works with immigration counsel to file H-1B petitions and has a consistent record of sponsoring international candidates in its project and program management divisions.
How do I apply for Senior Project Management jobs at CBRE?
Applications go through CBRE's careers portal at cbre.com/careers. Search for Senior Project Manager or Senior PM roles filtered by your target region. Tailor your application to emphasize project complexity, client relationship management, and relevant certifications like PMP. You can also browse CBRE's open sponsorship-eligible roles directly through Migrate Mate, which filters positions by visa type and sponsorship history.
Which visa types does CBRE commonly use for Senior Project Management roles?
CBRE sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas most frequently for Senior Project Management hires, as these roles meet specialty occupation criteria. F-1 OPT and CPT are used for candidates already in the U.S. completing degrees or early-career positions. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying management roles. For longer-term employees, CBRE supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways through PERM labor certification.
What qualifications does CBRE expect for Senior Project Management roles?
CBRE typically requires a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related discipline. Senior roles usually expect several years of progressively responsible project management experience, often with demonstrated ownership of multi-million dollar construction or tenant improvement projects. Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED AP strengthen your application. Experience with corporate real estate clients or commercial interiors is a consistent advantage in their project management division.
How do I think about timing if I need CBRE to file an H-1B for me?
H-1B cap-subject petitions are filed in April each year for an October 1 start date. If you're targeting CBRE on an expiring OPT authorization, align your offer timeline so CBRE can submit during the April registration window. USCIS requires employer registration before filing, so early conversations with CBRE's HR and immigration team matter. A STEM OPT extension, if you qualify, provides up to 24 additional months of runway if you miss a lottery cycle.
