Translate banking compliance experience into credentials
Customer Service roles at community banks like Centennial often require familiarity with BSA, KYC, and account verification procedures. Document any compliance-adjacent experience in your resume before applying, even if it came from a different financial institution or country.
Target branch locations in Centennial Bank markets
Centennial Bank operates primarily across the South and Southeast. Prioritize applications to branches in states where the bank has a heavier footprint, since local hiring managers typically have more flexibility to sponsor candidates for branch-level roles than regional offices do.
Clarify your OPT or CPT authorization early
If you're on F-1 status, bring your EAD and I-20 to your first interview. Community banks sometimes conflate OPT employment authorization with H-1B sponsorship, so confirming you can start work immediately under OPT removes the most common early objection from hiring managers.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Customer Service roles
Not every posted role at Centennial Bank will proceed to sponsorship. Use Migrate Mate to surface the specific Customer Service openings where the bank has historically moved forward with visa-sponsored candidates, so you avoid applying to positions unlikely to reach that stage.
Understand the H-1B timeline against your offer window
H-1B cap filings open in March for an October 1 start date. If Centennial Bank extends an offer in late spring or summer, ask HR whether they'll file for the next cap cycle or bridge your status through a cap-exempt period if you're already on an approved H-1B with a previous employer.
Confirm PERM labor market testing for EB-2 or EB-3 paths
If you're targeting a Green Card through an EB-2 or EB-3 classification, Centennial Bank must complete a DOL PERM recruitment process before filing. Ask during the offer stage whether the bank has in-house immigration counsel or works with outside attorneys who regularly handle PERM for branch-level roles.

Find Customer Service at Centennial Bank JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Centennial Bank sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Service?
Yes, Centennial Bank has sponsored H-1B visas for Customer Service roles. Sponsorship at the branch level is more selective than at corporate functions, so your strongest path is applying to locations where active hiring is already underway and making clear during screening that you'll need H-1B support before or after any OPT period expires.
How do I apply for Customer Service jobs at Centennial Bank?
Applications go through Centennial Bank's careers portal, where roles are listed by location and department. Before applying, use Migrate Mate to identify which open Customer Service positions have a track record of visa sponsorship. In your cover letter, state your visa status and authorization timeline upfront so the hiring team can assess fit before the first interview.
Which visa types does Centennial Bank commonly use for Customer Service hires?
Centennial Bank has sponsored H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3 for roles in this function. F-1 OPT is often the entry point for recent graduates, with H-1B sponsorship following if the hire performs well and the bank decides to retain the candidate long-term.
What qualifications does Centennial Bank expect for Customer Service roles?
Most Customer Service positions require direct experience in retail or branch banking, comfort with account management systems, and knowledge of regulatory requirements like BSA and KYC compliance. Bilingual candidates, particularly in Spanish, are competitive in many of Centennial Bank's Southern markets. A finance, business, or economics degree strengthens applications for senior or relationship-focused tiers of the Customer Service function.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take after a Customer Service offer?
Timeline depends on visa type. F-1 OPT authorization through USCIS typically processes within 90 days of your program end date, so apply early. H-1B cap sponsorship requires filing in March for an October start, meaning offers made outside that window either use premium processing for cap-exempt situations or bridge to the next cap season. TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals can often be obtained at the port of entry with a valid offer letter.
