Job Description:
Overview:
We don’t simply hire employees. We invest in them. When you work at Chatham, we empower you — offering professional development opportunities to help you grow in your career, no matter if you've been here for five months or 15 years. Chatham has worked hard to create a distinct work environment that values people, teamwork, integrity, and client service. You will have immediate opportunities to partner with talented subject matter experts, work on complex projects, and contribute to the value Chatham delivers every day.
About the role:
As a Research Product Associate at Chatham, you will help build the operating system behind the Research Team’s most important market intelligence products. This role is designed for a highly organized, analytically minded, and execution-oriented professional who can own recurring research workflows, improve how reports are produced, and help turn Chatham’s data, analysis, and market insight into repeatable, high-quality products.
In this role, you will own the production of flagship deliverables. Partnering closely with Research, Marketing, Analytics, Investment Management, and other internal stakeholders, you will help ensure each product has a clear purpose, audience, cadence, workflow, and feedback loop.
This is not a traditional research analyst role or a purely administrative production role. The person in this seat will be expected to understand what each research product is meant to accomplish, manage the process from start to finish, identify ways to improve efficiency, and help the team create new analyses, stronger market intelligence, and broader insight generation.
Responsibilities:
- Own and coordinate the production process for recurring Research Team deliverables
- Manage the research product calendar, production timelines, workflow checklists, stakeholder review process, and recurring deadlines
- Partner with Research Team subject-matter owners to understand each product’s purpose, audience, methodology, historical process, and improvement opportunities. Maintain institutional knowledge around how research products are created, why they matter, who they serve, and how they should evolve
- Centralize and standardize documentation around production workflows, templates, distribution language, supporting exhibits, documentation, and quality-control steps
- Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on distribution, branding consistency, and messaging
- Maintain feedback loops by gathering input from recipients and stakeholders, internal and external, while tracking readership and qualitative feedback where applicable
- Identify opportunities to streamline the report generation process, reducing manual steps and implementing AI and/or automation technologies to improve production workflows
- Support enhancements to existing products by incorporating new analyses, visualizations, metrics, templates, and process improvements
- Help expand the Research Team’s product library through new dashboards, indices, benchmarking tools, micro-reports, thematic briefs, and other repeatable assets
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in research operations, product management, product operations, finance, commercial real estate, capital markets, investment management, data analytics, consulting, or a similar analytical/business role
- Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables with different cadences, stakeholders, and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to own a process from start to finish, follow complex workflows, document steps clearly, and improve repeatable processes over time
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with market data, financial information, research exhibits, presentations, and written commentary
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, polished, and useful materials
- Intellectual curiosity and commercial instincts, with an interest in capital markets, commercial real estate, credit, lending, investment management, and market intelligence
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts, marketing partners, analytics colleagues, investment professionals, and senior stakeholders
- Comfort with technology and willingness to explore AI-enabled tools, automation, and new approaches to research production
- Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization, workflow tools, CRM systems, research databases, or business intelligence platforms is helpful
- Humility, energy, follow-through, and a collaborative team-first mindset; willingness to do detailed execution work while also staying curious and identifying ways to make the work better over time
For Colorado based candidates, the compensation range for the position is expected to be between $80,000 and $95,000 annually. Total compensation, including base pay, discretionary individual bonus and company bonus, may be higher than range listed, depending on applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401k, EAP, paid holidays and paid time off.

Target quantitative and technology roles first
Chatham Financial's core business in financial risk advisory means its strongest hiring is in quantitative analysis, software engineering, and data-driven consulting, roles that align closely with the specialty occupation requirements for H-1B and Green Card sponsorship.
Understand the consulting firm sponsorship dynamic
Professional services firms like Chatham Financial typically sponsor visa holders tied to client-facing or technical delivery roles. Positioning yourself as someone who drives measurable outcomes, not just fills a seat, strengthens your case during the hiring process.
Highlight your OPT or CPT eligibility early
Chatham Financial sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making it a realistic first employer for recent international graduates. Mention your work authorization status clearly in your application so recruiters don't filter you out on assumptions about future sponsorship complexity.
Ask about Green Card sponsorship timelines in later-stage interviews
Chatham Financial has a track record of sponsoring EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, suggesting long-term commitment to retained international talent. Raise the topic after receiving an offer, not during early screening, to avoid signaling that sponsorship is your primary motivation.
Browse open roles through a verified sponsorship filter
Not every job posting mentions visa sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your applications on Chatham Financial openings where international candidates have a genuine shot.
Leverage TN eligibility if you're Canadian or Mexican
Chatham Financial sponsors TN visas, which is a strong signal for Canadian and Mexican professionals. TN processing is faster and simpler than H-1B, so if you qualify, lead with that in your conversation with recruiters to reduce their perceived sponsorship burden.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Chatham Financial sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Chatham Financial sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established track record of H-1B filings, particularly for technical and analytical roles in financial risk advisory. If you're currently on OPT or another nonimmigrant status and targeting a long-term U.S. work path, Chatham Financial is worth pursuing as a potential H-1B sponsor.
What visa types does Chatham Financial sponsor?
Chatham Financial sponsors H-1B, TN visa, J-1 visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. This breadth of sponsorship is relatively uncommon among mid-sized consulting firms and reflects a genuine commitment to hiring international talent across different career stages and nationalities.
Which roles at Chatham Financial are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Chatham Financial is most common for roles requiring specialized quantitative, technical, or financial expertise, think software engineers, financial analysts, risk consultants, and data scientists. These roles align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements and are where the company has historically concentrated its international hiring. Generic business or administrative roles are less likely to be sponsored.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Chatham Financial?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find current openings at Chatham Financial that are open to visa sponsorship. Rather than sifting through job boards that don't distinguish between sponsors and non-sponsors, Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for companies with verified sponsorship history, including Chatham Financial, so you can apply with confidence.
How do I approach Chatham Financial's hiring process as an international candidate?
Lead with your technical qualifications, not your visa status. Chatham Financial's interviews are typically competency-driven with a strong focus on quantitative and problem-solving ability. Once you've cleared early screening rounds and a hiring manager is interested, the sponsorship conversation becomes much easier. Having your work authorization status and timeline ready to explain clearly and concisely will help move things forward without friction.
