Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Human Resources Jobs at CrossCountry Consulting Jobs
Frame your HR credentials for consulting
CrossCountry Consulting serves accounting and auditing clients, so tailor your resume to show HR experience in professional services or client-facing environments. Generic HR backgrounds get deprioritized; demonstrating you understand billable workforce dynamics strengthens your candidacy significantly.
Target CrossCountry openings using Migrate Mate
Filter for CrossCountry Consulting's Human Resources roles on Migrate Mate to surface only positions where sponsorship is active for your visa type. This saves you from applying to roles where the company isn't currently filing for HR candidates.
Ask about LCA timing during offer negotiations
Before accepting an offer, confirm whether CrossCountry has already filed a Labor Condition Application with DOL for your role and location. LCA certification can take one to three weeks and must precede any USCIS H-1B filing, so early clarity prevents last-minute delays.
Prepare your OPT or grace period runway carefully
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate exactly how many days remain before your authorization expires. CrossCountry will need time to prepare and file your H-1B petition, and a gap in work authorization status during that window can interrupt your employment before USCIS acts.
Align your PERM documentation with HR specialty requirements
If CrossCountry sponsors you for an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card, DOL's PERM audit process scrutinizes whether the HR role genuinely requires your specific degree. Gather transcripts, certifications like SHRM-CP or PHR, and prior employer letters that establish your specialized qualifications early.

Find Human Resources at CrossCountry Consulting JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does CrossCountry Consulting sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources roles?
Yes, CrossCountry Consulting has sponsored H-1B visas for Human Resources positions. HR roles at consulting firms qualify as specialty occupations when the position requires a specific bachelor's degree or higher in human resources, business, organizational development, or a related field. Your degree field needs to align with the job description to support a successful petition with USCIS.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at CrossCountry Consulting?
You can browse current Human Resources openings at CrossCountry Consulting directly through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where visa sponsorship is active for your visa type. Once you identify a role, apply through CrossCountry's careers portal. Prepare a resume that reflects HR experience in professional services or accounting environments, since the firm's client base shapes what they prioritize in candidates.
Which visa types does CrossCountry Consulting commonly use for Human Resources hires?
CrossCountry Consulting sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT for HR roles, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term hires. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR-related categories. Each visa type has different degree alignment requirements, so confirm your specific situation with the recruiting team during the offer stage.
What qualifications does CrossCountry Consulting expect for sponsored Human Resources positions?
CrossCountry typically looks for a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, industrial-organizational psychology, or a closely related field. Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR strengthen your application, particularly for roles that may later require PERM labor certification. Experience supporting HR functions within professional services, consulting, or accounting environments is a meaningful differentiator given the firm's client-focused model.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Human Resources role at CrossCountry Consulting?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B standard processing through USCIS takes three to six months after filing, though premium processing reduces that to roughly 15 business days. E-3 and TN can move faster since they don't require USCIS petitions in most cases. If you're on F-1 OPT, CrossCountry needs to initiate the H-1B process well before your authorization expires to keep you in continuous work-authorized status.
