Work with your project team to develop management reporting and analytics around key SaaS metrics, including ARR, MRR, net revenue retention, usage/consumption trends, and product-level profitability.
Develop and maintain relationships with portfolio company representatives and Private Equity sponsors, collaborating with CrossCountry team members to scope, clarify, and deliver excellent client service.
Actively participate in business development opportunities and market a full range of billing, revenue, and technology enablement services to prospective clients, including using existing relationships to generate new opportunities.

Frame your credentials around specialty occupation standards
Program Director roles at CrossCountry need to clear USCIS specialty occupation requirements. Document how your degree directly maps to accounting or audit advisory work, not just general management, since USCIS scrutinizes consulting titles more than technical ones.
Target CrossCountry's active client verticals when applying
CrossCountry staffs Program Directors against active client engagements, often in financial services, government, or healthcare. Applying when you can name relevant sector experience signals immediate deployment value and shortens the internal business justification needed to initiate sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Program Director roles
CrossCountry posts Program Director openings across multiple locations at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles at CrossCountry that include visa sponsorship, so you're not manually tracking postings across job boards while on a time-sensitive visa status.
Clarify your visa type before the offer stage
CrossCountry sponsors several visa categories, and the right one depends on your nationality and current status. Confirming whether you need H-1B, E-3, or TN processing before an offer is extended prevents delays caused by reassigning your case to a different USCIS or DOL filing track mid-process.
Align your start date to LCA and filing lead times
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting an H-1B or E-3 petition. Build at least three to four weeks of buffer between your offer acceptance and proposed start date to allow for LCA certification, especially if premium processing is not guaranteed.
Prepare a project-based experience portfolio before interviews
CrossCountry evaluates Program Directors on cross-functional delivery and client relationship management. Compile a concise portfolio of engagements showing scope, team size, and measurable outcomes in accounting or audit advisory contexts, since this directly supports the petition's specialty occupation documentation later.

Find Program Director at CrossCountry Consulting JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does CrossCountry Consulting sponsor H-1B visas for Program Directors?
Yes, CrossCountry Consulting sponsors H-1B visas for Program Director roles. Because Program Director is a consulting title, your petition will need to clearly establish specialty occupation status by demonstrating that the role requires a directly related bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related technical field, not just general business or management credentials.
Which visa types are commonly used for Program Director roles at CrossCountry Consulting?
CrossCountry sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, EB-2, EB-3, and F-1 OPT extensions for qualifying roles including Program Director. Australian citizens benefit from the E-3 pathway, which has no lottery and allows biennial renewals. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under TN, provided the role maps to an eligible USMCA occupation category such as accountant or management consultant.
What qualifications and experience does CrossCountry Consulting expect for Program Directors?
CrossCountry typically expects Program Directors to have significant advisory or management consulting experience, often with a background in accounting, audit, finance transformation, or a related technical discipline. Familiarity with large-scale client engagements, cross-functional team leadership, and sector-specific delivery, particularly in financial services, government, or healthcare, strengthens your candidacy and supports the specialty occupation case needed for visa sponsorship.
How do I apply for Program Director jobs at CrossCountry Consulting?
Browse open Program Director roles at CrossCountry Consulting directly on their careers page or through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for visa-sponsoring employers. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect project delivery outcomes and technical domain depth rather than broad management experience, since CrossCountry hiring decisions for this level weigh client-facing impact and sector expertise heavily.
How do I plan my timeline if CrossCountry Consulting is sponsoring my H-1B as a Program Director?
If you require a new H-1B, the annual lottery opens in March for an October 1 start date, which means you need an offer in hand by late February. F-1 OPT holders should confirm their OPT expiration against that timeline. If you're transferring an existing H-1B from another employer, CrossCountry can file a portability petition and you can begin work upon receipt notice, without waiting for USCIS approval.
