The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Frame your AI portfolio around client outcomes
Deloitte evaluates AI Strategy candidates on their ability to translate technical capability into measurable business impact. Document engagements where you shaped AI roadmaps or influenced executive decisions, not just projects where you implemented models.
Target Deloitte's AI and Data practice directly
Deloitte's AI Strategy roles sit within distinct practice areas rather than a central technology pool. Applying through the AI and Data or Strategy and Analytics practices increases visibility with hiring managers who own headcount and sponsorship decisions.
Clarify your visa category before interviews start
Australian citizens should raise E-3 eligibility early. Because E-3 has no lottery and requires a Labor Condition Application filed with DOL rather than an H-1B petition, Deloitte's immigration team can move faster once an offer is extended.
Align your degree field to the specialty occupation standard
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the offered role for H-1B approval. For AI Strategy Manager positions, degrees in computer science, information systems, or business analytics are stronger fits than broadly framed management degrees.
Use Migrate Mate to find open AI Strategy Manager roles at Deloitte
Search Migrate Mate's job board to filter for Deloitte postings that explicitly support visa sponsorship. This narrows your applications to positions where sponsorship is already part of the hiring plan, reducing dead ends in the process.
Understand Deloitte's PERM timeline before accepting
If Green Card sponsorship matters to you, confirm whether the role qualifies for employer-sponsored PERM at the offer stage. Consulting roles with evolving client assignments can complicate the specific-duties requirement DOL uses to evaluate PERM applications.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for AI Strategy Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for AI Strategy Manager roles and has a dedicated immigration team that manages the process. Because the H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing matters. Deloitte typically files during the March registration window, so your offer needs to come together well before that deadline if you need cap-subject sponsorship.
How do I apply for AI Strategy Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, but the most effective path is applying to roles within the AI and Data or Strategy and Analytics practice areas where these positions are concentrated. You can also browse verified Deloitte AI Strategy Manager openings that flag visa sponsorship directly on Migrate Mate, which filters out roles where sponsorship isn't on the table.
Which visa types does Deloitte use for AI Strategy Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and E-3 visas for this role, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories for longer-term permanent residency. Australian citizens benefit most from the E-3 visa pathway since it avoids the H-1B lottery entirely and can be processed at a U.S. consulate in Australia without waiting for a USCIS petition decision.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for an AI Strategy Manager?
Deloitte typically looks for a relevant bachelor's or advanced degree in a technical or quantitative field, several years of management consulting or strategy experience, and demonstrated work on AI or data transformation engagements. Client-facing experience matters heavily at the manager level. Candidates who can show they've led AI strategy workstreams from problem framing through to executive presentation are consistently competitive.
How long does Deloitte's visa sponsorship process take for this role?
Timeline depends on visa type. E-3 consular processing in Australia typically runs two to four weeks from interview scheduling to visa issuance. H-1B standard processing takes three to five months after USCIS receives the petition, though premium processing can reduce USCIS adjudication to about 15 business days. PERM-based Green Card cases run considerably longer and depend on DOL audit risk and priority date movement.
