Align your credentials to Deloitte's specialty occupation standard
USCIS requires Solutions Architect Manager roles to meet the specialty occupation threshold. Frame your degree and experience around enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, or systems integration, the disciplines Deloitte's LCA filings most commonly cite for this title.
Target Deloitte's sector-specific practices when applying
Deloitte hires Solutions Architect Managers within distinct practice areas like Government and Public Services, Financial Services, and Technology. Applying within a practice aligned to your background increases your fit score and shortens the path to a sponsorship-eligible offer.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by visa type
Deloitte posts Solutions Architect Manager openings across many service lines simultaneously. Migrate Mate lets you filter specifically for roles where sponsorship is confirmed, so you're not guessing which postings will support H-1B or E-3 filings.
Clarify the staffing model before accepting an offer
Some Deloitte offers come through its core consulting entity and others through affiliated staffing structures. The sponsoring legal entity affects your LCA prevailing wage determination and which DOL wage level applies, so confirm this before the offer stage.
Build a portfolio of client delivery evidence before interviews
Deloitte's hiring panels for this level evaluate demonstrated ownership of solution design across a full project lifecycle. Prepare case studies showing architecture decisions you made, not just contributed to, as consulting firms distinguish contributors from decision-makers during panel reviews.
Understand how the H-1B cap timeline affects your start date
If you're not already in H-1B status, Deloitte can only file cap-subject petitions in April for an October 1 start. Structure your offer negotiation around that window so your onboarding date aligns with USCIS's fiscal year start.

Find Solutions Architect Manager at Deloitte JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Deloitte sponsor H-1B visas for Solutions Architect Managers?
Yes, Deloitte sponsors H-1B visas for Solutions Architect Manager roles. This position qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards given its requirements for specialized knowledge in enterprise architecture or technology consulting. Deloitte has dedicated immigration teams that manage the LCA filing with DOL and the subsequent I-129 petition, making it one of the more structured sponsorship processes among large consulting firms.
How do I apply for Solutions Architect Manager jobs at Deloitte?
Applications go through Deloitte's careers portal, where roles are listed by practice area and location. You can also find and filter open Solutions Architect Manager positions on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed. Deloitte's interview process for this level typically includes a recruiter screen, a technical architecture assessment, and multiple rounds with practice leadership before an offer is extended.
Which visa types does Deloitte commonly sponsor for Solutions Architect Manager roles?
Deloitte sponsors H-1B and H-1B1 visas for this role as the most common nonimmigrant pathways. Australian citizens are eligible for the E-3, which skips the lottery and allows faster processing at a U.S. consulate. For longer-term pathways, Deloitte also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, typically initiated after an employee has been in a stable role for one to two years.
What qualifications does Deloitte expect for a Solutions Architect Manager?
Deloitte generally expects a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems, along with substantial hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions. Cloud platform certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud carry weight in the evaluation process. At the manager level, Deloitte also looks for demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and owning client-facing architecture deliverables, not just contributing to them.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Solutions Architect Manager at Deloitte?
For H-1B cap-subject cases, USCIS opens the lottery in March and petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, so plan for at least six months from offer to start. Premium processing through USCIS can reduce adjudication time to 15 business days once the petition is filed. E-3 applicants generally move faster, with consular appointments often available within a few weeks depending on the Australian consulate location.
