Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy mainframe code (COBOL/JCL/DB2) and process flows to extract true business behavior, especially around enrollment/eligibility logic.
- Translate extracted logic into business-readable rules and decision models, ensuring traceability from legacy system to implemented rule.
- Validate rules with business SMEs and oversee offshore teams' rule extraction, development, and testing deliverables.
- Define standards, resolve logic gaps/conflicts, and guide test case development to confirm new rules replicate legacy behavior.
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Qualifications
Required
- 10+ years mainframe experience (COBOL, JCL, DB2) with strong legacy code analysis skills.
- Proven expertise in business rule extraction/translation and JDM/Decision Management platforms.
- Lead architect experience on large modernization initiatives, managing distributed onshore/offshore teams.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
