About the Team
DashMart is a local-fulfillment center owned and operated by DoorDash, offering customers household essentials and other items to their doorsteps with speed, reliability, and quality. Customers order their convenience, grocery, retail, and prepared foods in the DoorDash app, and our team members fulfill orders in a real, brick-and-mortar store, for Dashers to deliver. We're open early and close late - some sites even run 24/7!
About the Role
We're looking for a people-focused leader and experienced operations specialist to lead some of our DashMart facilities.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Lead: recruit, lead, coach & retain a high-performing team of Site Managers (6+ direct reports), Assistant Site Managers, Shift Leads, and Operations Associates (50+ indirect reports). As a leader, you are a culture carrier. The tone starts with you.
- Own: From first principles, you will spend most of your time physically onsite managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a high volume portfolio (approx 6-10 DashMart locations), ensuring all site processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely. Responsible for market metric performance (quality, storefront reliability, efficiency, and profitability) by identifying opportunities, and implementing growth plans to achieve goals.
- Strategize: by executing process improvement pilots & projects with cross-functional stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies while maintaining positive employee experience. Contribute to market expansion and scaling efforts by ensuring that sites execute against increased demand, operational best practices, and driving results against operational key metrics.
- Change Management: Own site-level culture and change management by leading adoption of operational best practices, activating team engagement, and channeling frontline insights to influence cross-functional decisions.
- Delight customers: Work cross-functionally with central teams to ensure your site offers customers the best experience on each and every order and provide your team with the tools, resources and support needed to achieve these goals.
We're excited about you because…
- You act like an owner. You do what it takes to support a 24/7 business committing to a flexible schedule aligned to being onsite regularly based on business needs, including non-traditional hours, weekends, and holidays.
- You solve problems from first principles. You're excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
- You're unafraid of ambiguity. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environments.
- You're analytical. You let data win arguments. You are a data-first problem solver with excellent Excel / data analysis skills.
- You're relentless. You do what it takes to win, no matter what.
- You're a proven leader. You have led & managed teams of 15+ employees and/or multi-locations.
- 4 year college degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- You have 7+ years' experience: In Operations, Retail/Warehouse Management, Strategy or related field.
- You are within a reasonably commutable distance to a DashMart in the advertised location.
Bonus Points:
- Experience starting or scaling a successful startup.
- You have operational experience in logistics and/or Fulfillment Center/Warehousing.
- Prior experience in managing high volume operations and team members within various local labor market requirements.
- You have multi-unit management experience.
- You have built and trained high performing teams.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Human Resources Jobs at DoorDash Jobs
Align your HR credentials to U.S. standards
SHRM-CP or PHR certification signals fluency in U.S. labor law and HR compliance, which matters at a tech employer like DoorDash. If your credentials are from outside the U.S., get a credential equivalency evaluation before you apply.
Target HR roles tied to DoorDash's core operations
DoorDash's People team supports high-volume functions like Dasher operations, go-to-market, and engineering. HR business partner and talent acquisition roles tied to these functions see consistent hiring, so position your experience around scaling or supporting large, distributed workforces.
Clarify your visa category before the offer stage
H-1B, E-3, and TN all require the role to qualify as a specialty occupation. For HR, this typically means the job description specifies a degree in HR management, industrial-organizational psychology, or a related field. Review the job posting carefully before assuming any HR title qualifies.
Understand the LCA's impact on your start date
DoorDash must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B or E-3 petition is submitted. LCA certification takes up to seven business days. Factor this into your expected start date conversation with the recruiter so your timeline is realistic.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open HR roles by sponsorship type
Not every HR posting at DoorDash will be flagged for sponsorship in a general job board. Use Migrate Mate to browse DoorDash's Human Resources openings filtered by the visa types they've sponsored, so you're only spending time on roles that match your status.

Find Human Resources at DoorDash JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles. The role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning the position requires at minimum a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as Human Resources, organizational psychology, or a related discipline. General HR coordinator roles may not meet that threshold, while HR business partner and compensation roles typically do.
Which visa types are commonly used for Human Resources roles at DoorDash?
DoorDash sponsors several visa categories for HR positions, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, and H-1B1 for Singaporean and Chilean nationals. For candidates on F-1 OPT or CPT, DoorDash also supports those work authorization types. The right category depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific role's requirements.
What qualifications are expected for Human Resources roles at DoorDash?
Most HR roles at DoorDash expect a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business administration, or a related field, plus experience supporting HR functions at scale. For HR business partner roles, experience partnering with engineering, operations, or go-to-market teams is valued. Compensation and people analytics roles often require proficiency in data tools alongside core HR knowledge.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at DoorDash?
You can find and filter DoorDash's open Human Resources positions on Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles by visa sponsorship type so you're not applying blindly. Once you identify a matching role, apply through DoorDash's careers portal. Tailor your resume to reflect the specific HR function the role supports, whether that's talent acquisition, HR business partnering, or total rewards.
How do I know if a DoorDash HR offer will result in a sponsored visa petition?
Raise sponsorship early in the recruiter screen, not after the offer. Confirm that the role's job description specifies a degree requirement in a relevant field, which is what USCIS evaluates for specialty occupation status. Once an offer is extended, DoorDash's HR team initiates the Labor Condition Application with DOL, followed by the USCIS petition. Premium processing is available if your timeline is tight.
