About the Team
Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re-inventing the way consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail delivery through both our first-party and third-party operations businesses. DashMarts are our first-party offering designed to provide on-demand deliveries through a new type of convenience. Inside DashMarts we sell household essentials, groceries, brand-name favorites, local favorites and so much more! We have sites all over the country and are growing our geographic footprint, services we offer and scaling our existing sites today!
About the Role
In this role, you would lead the supply chain optimization flywheel for our DashMart business. This role would own the team responsible for inbound forecast, outbound forecast, and order frequency management, and would be accountable for ensuring these workstreams operate as one coordinated system. The mandate is to improve how demand is forecasted, how that demand translates into ordering and delivery patterns, and how inbound volume is distributed in a way that sites can receive effectively without creating unnecessary peaks, skips, backlog, or instability. This leader would be central to driving strategic vision, cross-functional prioritization, and execution rigor across the forecast-to-receive flywheel. We're looking for someone who leads with data, moves quickly from insight to action, and brings a strong ownership mentality.
You will report into a Senior Manager on our DashMart Strategy & Operations team and lead a small team. We operate in a hybrid model and spend some time in person, some time working remotely and some time visiting DashMarts.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
- Analyze. You love working with data to drive business decision-making and have strong SQL expertise.
- Lead. You'll spearhead cross-functional projects, collaborating with Operations, Space Planning, and Product and Analytics to develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reduce operational friction, and strengthen instock outcomes.
- Strategize. You will lead the forecasting and supply chain optimization flywheel for DashMart, ensuring inbound forecast, outbound forecast, and order frequency work together as one coordinated system.
- Build. You will build strategic initiatives and drive innovation across our offerings; this can vary from improving forecast models to AI-powered capabilities. This means everything from high-level strategy to operational details.
We're excited about you because…
- You are an operator. You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're also able to think long-term. You are excited to experience our operation firsthand to inform your strategy.
- You solve problems from first principles. You're excited to think innovatively, and you resist "this is how it's always been done" thinking.
- You're analytical. You possess a sharp analytical mind, and can extract and communicate meaningful insights from data to drive strategic decisions. You are comfortable with SQL and data visualization tools.
- You have 6-8+ years of experience. You've succeeded in high-performing cultures (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups or a related experience).
- You are a leader. You have at least 2+ years of direct management experience.
- You have a completed Bachelor's Degree.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Supply Chain Jobs at DoorDash Jobs
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
DoorDash files H-1B petitions under specialty occupation rules, meaning your degree must directly relate to the Supply Chain role. A general business degree may not satisfy USCIS if the position requires supply chain or operations management expertise specifically.
Target roles requiring cross-functional logistics expertise
DoorDash Supply Chain hires often sit at the intersection of operations, data analysis, and vendor management. Positions blending quantitative skills with systems knowledge attract stronger sponsorship consideration than generalist procurement or coordination roles.
Research open Supply Chain positions through Migrate Mate
Browse DoorDash's active Supply Chain openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. You can identify which roles align with your visa category before investing time in tailoring applications.
Prepare for technical and systems-based interview rounds
DoorDash Supply Chain interviews typically include case studies on network optimization, demand forecasting, or supplier risk. Demonstrating quantitative reasoning and familiarity with logistics platforms strengthens your candidacy alongside any sponsorship conversation.

Find Supply Chain at DoorDash JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DoorDash sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chains?
Yes, DoorDash sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying Supply Chain roles. The position must meet USCIS specialty occupation standards, which generally requires that the job demands a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as supply chain management, operations research, or industrial engineering. Roles that are more generalist in nature may face additional scrutiny during the petition process.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at DoorDash?
You can browse DoorDash's open Supply Chain positions directly on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can identify roles suited to your status before applying. Once you identify a fit, apply through DoorDash's careers portal and flag your visa requirements early in the recruiter screening call to avoid timeline mismatches later.
Which visa types does DoorDash commonly use for Supply Chain roles?
DoorDash sponsors a broad range of visa categories for Supply Chain professionals, including H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 for nonimmigrant pathways. For permanent residence, the company also files under EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories through the PERM labor certification process administered by the DOL.
What qualifications does DoorDash expect for Supply Chain roles?
Most Supply Chain roles at DoorDash require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, industrial engineering, or a closely related quantitative field. Practical experience in logistics operations, vendor management, demand planning, or inventory optimization is typically expected. Familiarity with data tools and cross-functional collaboration in a technology or marketplace environment strengthens your profile significantly.
How do I time my application around H-1B filing deadlines?
The H-1B cap filing window opens in March each year, with an employment start date of October 1 at the earliest. If you're on F-1 OPT, you'll need to be registered in the H-1B lottery before your authorization expires. Targeting DoorDash Supply Chain roles in the fourth quarter of the prior year gives you enough time to receive an offer, allow DoorDash to complete LCA filing with the DOL, and submit your H-1B petition during the March window.
