INTRODUCTION
Air is the first Creative Ops platform: a system of record for creative teams. Our product automates the mindless tasks that creatives and marketers do every day to manage content, unlocking creativity through image recognition, automated versioning, and approval workflows. Air launched in March 2021 and is backed by world-class venture capital firms including Tiger Global, Headline Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, WndrCo, and Slack Ventures.
This role requires in-office attendance at least 3 days/week in New York City.
We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to architect and own the systems that turn signups into power users—and keep them there. You'll build Air's lifecycle engine from the ground up: behavioral triggers, onboarding flows, retention programs, push notifications, and everything in between. If you love building things that compound over time and can make data-driven campaigns feel like they actually have a soul, this role is for you.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and Scale Lifecycle Infrastructure
- Own Air's email marketing system with segmentation based on usage patterns, workspace maturity, and feature adoption.
- Launch behavioral trigger campaigns tied to key product moments and establish a lifecycle experimentation framework across email, in-app, and push.
- Create and maintain a lifecycle systems map: events, segments, triggers, suppression rules, and measurement standards.
Drive Activation & Self-Serve Conversion
- Own the self-serve funnel from signup through activation, closing the gap between interest and meaningful product usage.
- Ship a refreshed onboarding experience (email + in-product) that reliably gets users to a magic moment.
- Launch progressive engagement campaigns that move users from basic DAM behaviors into advanced Creative Ops workflows.
Retain, Expand, and Re-Engage
- Identify drop-off points and build targeted re-engagement triggers to maintain and improve already-strong engagement metrics.
- Develop expansion plays that move accounts up-market within organizations, supporting NRR.
- Build win-back, reactivation, and systematic nurture campaigns for dormant users and inactive workspaces.
Own Product Communications
- Partner with Product and Product Marketing to translate feature launches into lifecycle messaging that feels native to Air's brand voice.
- Establish a repeatable product-to-lifecycle workflow: every feature ships with a clear comms plan, lifecycle moments, and success metrics.
- Use newsletter strategy to move subscribers deeper into product engagement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 5–8+ years in lifecycle, retention, or growth marketing with direct ownership of onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion programs—ideally in B2B SaaS
- Product fluency: Proven experience partnering closely with Product and PMM on launches, activation metrics, and usage-driven campaigns.
- Analytical ability: Able to diagnose funnel gaps, define baselines, design experiments, and tie lifecycle work to real product and revenue outcomes.
- Writing & taste: Strong writer with excellent judgment — capable of crafting product communications that feel distinctly Air
- Operating style: High ownership, systems-minded, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and biased toward shipping, learning, and iterating.
- Technical Ability: Proficient in a lifecycle platform (e.g. Customer.io); strong grasp of segmentation, trigger logic, and behavioral data. Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS for email and analytics tools.
HOW WE WORK AT AIR
- Act like a driver: Take initiative and ownership without waiting to be told.
- Work in public: Share ideas openly, get feedback early, and collaborate across teams.
- Play to win: Aim high and bring creativity, adaptability, and focus to your work.
- Say the hard thing: Give and receive feedback with clarity and respect.
- Disagree and commit: Debate honestly, then align quickly to move forward together.
BENEFITS
Why Air?
- Growth and Impact: Join a rapidly scaling company with a mission to transform the creative ops space. Your work will have a direct, tangible impact on our ARR growth.

Align your degree to the role
Air Labs Inc's E-3 roles require a specialty occupation, meaning your degree field must directly match the job description. Pull the O*NET occupation profile for the role you're targeting and confirm the educational requirement before you apply.
Target technical roles over generalist positions
At a technology company like Air Labs Inc, software engineering and product management roles have the clearest specialty occupation arguments under E-3 criteria. Avoid applying to generalist or cross-functional roles where the degree requirement is ambiguous.
Get your LCA wage benchmarks early
Before negotiations start, run the OFLC Wage Search for your occupation code and metro area. Air Labs Inc must pay at least the prevailing wage on your Labor Condition Application, so knowing the floor helps you evaluate any offer accurately.
Clarify sponsorship intent in the interview
Don't wait until the offer stage to confirm Air Labs Inc will file an LCA and support your visa appointment. Ask the hiring manager or recruiter directly during the final interview round whether the team has run E-3 sponsorships before.
Use Migrate Mate to manage your filing documents
Once you have a signed offer and certified LCA, the consular appointment moves fast. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service organizes your DS-160, support letter, and LCA into a complete consular packet, reducing the risk of missing documents at the window.
Confirm your Australian citizenship documentation
The E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens, not permanent residents. Before Air Labs Inc files the LCA, confirm your current Australian passport is valid and will remain so through your intended start date and the full two-year visa period.
AIR E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Air Labs Inc sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Air Labs Inc sponsors E-3 visas for qualifying roles in Technology & Software. The company has filed E-3 Labor Condition Applications with the DOL, which is the required first step in the sponsorship process. Roles in software engineering and technical functions are the most common candidates for E-3 sponsorship.
Which roles at Air Labs Inc typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Air Labs Inc is most accessible for roles that clearly require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field, such as software engineering, data analysis, and product management. Roles where any general degree satisfies the requirement are harder to support under the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Air Labs Inc?
After receiving a job offer, Air Labs Inc must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically certifies within seven business days. You then complete the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, and attend a consular interview in Australia. Migrate Mate can help you prepare the complete consular packet once the LCA is certified.
How long does the E-3 process take at Air Labs Inc?
The timeline depends on how quickly Air Labs Inc moves on the LCA and how far out the nearest U.S. consulate appointment is available. LCA certification typically takes about seven business days. Consular appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth varies by season, so the total process can run anywhere from two to eight weeks.
What should I do if Air Labs Inc hasn't sponsored E-3 visas before?
If Air Labs Inc's HR or legal team is unfamiliar with the E-3, direct them to USCIS's E-3 guidance for employers. The LCA filing is handled through DOL's FLAG system and doesn't require USCIS petition fees or a lottery. A straightforward specialty occupation argument and a strong job description are usually enough to move first-time sponsors forward.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Air Labs Inc?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
