INTRODUCTION
Courier Health is on a mission to solve one of the biggest and most meaningful opportunities in healthcare: reinvent how people living with chronic and rare diseases are supported. We are building the future of patient engagement for life sciences companies. Our software is leveraged by biopharma companies to support patients in their complex journey from diagnosis to initiating and remaining on therapy to achieve optimal health outcomes. We are looking for talented individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to have an outsized impact on not just their company, but the healthcare industry at large.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Own end-to-end product design from discovery through delivery for Courier Health's core products for Patient Services and Field Access and the underlying platform services including workflows, admin, analytics, roles and permissions, and omnichannel communication.
Build and scale a design system from the ground up: component library, token architecture, interaction patterns, and documentation that ensures consistency across the product and accelerates engineering velocity.
Design data-rich experiences that make managing complex patient journey accessible and actionable for non-technical biopharma users.
Lead user research and validation, partnering with Client Services and customers to conduct discovery interviews, usability studies, and rapid prototype testing that inform design decisions.
Establish the design practice: critique cadences, research playbooks, design-to-dev handoff standards, and documentation norms that set the team up to scale.
Partner as a true peer with Product Management and Engineering. Co-own outcomes, not just deliverables. Participate in roadmap planning, sprint ceremonies, and cross-functional prioritization.
* Ship work that differentiates us from legacy CRM tools. Raise the bar on what enterprise healthcare software can look and feel like, making Courier Health the product biopharma teams love to use.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex B2B SaaS products. Enterprise, healthcare, or CRM experience is a strong plus.
Design systems builder. You have created, governed, or significantly scaled a design system in a production environment. You understand components, tokens, variants, and the governance needed to make systems stick.
Data visualization fluency. You have designed dashboards, charts, and data-dense screens and can demonstrate thoughtful approaches to information hierarchy, progressive disclosure, and accessibility.
Exceptional interaction and visual design craft. Your work is polished, intentional, and holds up under scrutiny. You care about typography, spacing, motion, and the micro-details that separate good from great.
Research-informed but not research-paralyzed. You know how to run lightweight usability tests, synthesize qualitative feedback, and make confident decisions with imperfect information.
Cross-functional collaborator. You have a track record of partnering with PMs and engineers as peers, not as an order-taker. You can articulate design rationale in terms of user outcomes and business impact.
Strong communicator and storyteller. You can present work to executives, defend decisions with evidence, and bring stakeholders along on the design journey.
Figma expert. Deep proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and systems management. Experience with other tools (Principle, After Effects, Framer) is a bonus.
* Thrives in growth-stage environments. You are energized by ambiguity, comfortable being the first or only designer on a problem, and motivated by the chance to build something from the ground up.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience designing for regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, fintech) where compliance and data sensitivity shape the design space.
Familiarity with patient engagement, CRM platforms, or health tech workflows.
Experience with AI-powered product features, including agentic workflows, predictive models, or intelligent automation interfaces.
Background in establishing design practices at companies scaling from early product-market fit to multi-product platform.

401(k) with employer funded match
Unlimited Vacation

Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Consulting roles at Courier Health must qualify as specialty occupations under E-3 rules, meaning your degree field must directly relate to the position. Review the role's requirements against your transcript and be ready to explain that alignment in your application.
Research prevailing wage before salary discussions
Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up wage levels for your target role and location before any offer conversation. Courier Health's HR team will need to certify a prevailing wage through DOL, so knowing the range helps you negotiate from an informed position.
Flag your E-3 eligibility early in the process
Courier Health's hiring managers in consulting may not encounter E-3 candidates frequently. Mention your Australian citizenship and E-3 eligibility in your cover letter or recruiter screen so the team can route your application to someone with visa sponsorship authority from the start.
Prepare a specialty occupation evidence packet
Gather your degree transcripts, any professional certifications, and a clear written summary of how your qualifications map to the consulting role. Courier Health will need this documentation to support the Labor Condition Application filed with DOL before your visa appointment.
Use Migrate Mate to manage your E-3 filing after the offer
Once Courier Health extends an offer, use Migrate Mate to handle the E-3 filing. The platform assigns a dedicated expert to prepare your documentation and files within one business day, which keeps your start date on track.
Confirm the consulate appointment timeline with your employer
After DOL certifies the Labor Condition Application, you'll schedule a consulate interview in Australia. Build at least four to six weeks into your projected start date to account for appointment availability and passport return time, and confirm this window with Courier Health before signing.
Courier Health E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Courier Health sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Courier Health does sponsor E-3 visas for qualified Australian professionals. Sponsorship is tied to roles that meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning the position must typically require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Not every open role will qualify, so confirm sponsorship intent with the recruiter early in the process.
Which roles or departments at Courier Health typically receive E-3 sponsorship?
Courier Health's E-3 sponsorship is concentrated in consulting and professional services functions where degree-level expertise is a genuine job requirement. Roles in strategy, operations, data analysis, and technology consulting are the most common fit. General administrative or support positions are less likely to meet the specialty occupation threshold required for E-3 eligibility.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Courier Health?
The process begins after Courier Health extends a job offer. Your employer files a Labor Condition Application with DOL, which certifies the offered wage meets prevailing wage standards. Once that's certified, you apply for the E-3 visa directly at a U.S. consulate in Australia. Migrate Mate can manage the filing preparation on your behalf once the offer is confirmed.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at Courier Health?
The timeline depends on two main steps: DOL Labor Condition Application certification, which typically takes around seven business days, and your consulate appointment availability in Australia. Combined, most applicants should plan for four to six weeks between receiving an offer and having a visa stamp in hand, though consulate backlogs can extend that window.
What should I bring to my E-3 visa interview after Courier Health sponsors me?
Bring your certified Labor Condition Application, DS-160 confirmation, a letter from Courier Health confirming your job offer and role details, your degree transcripts or credentials, a valid Australian passport, and your visa fee receipt. USCIS guidance outlines the full documentation requirements, and your filing service or employer should provide a checklist specific to your application.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Courier Health?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
