Frame your PR experience around specialty occupation
E-3 requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, meaning it demands a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Position your communications or PR credentials to show the role requires specialized academic knowledge, not just general marketing skills.
Research Hotwire's current client sectors before applying
Hotwire organizes work around tech, B2B, and consumer clients. Aligning your application to a sector where they're actively hiring signals immediate value. Roles tied to active client accounts are more likely to generate an offer with E-3 sponsorship than speculative or pipeline positions.
Confirm LCA filing readiness before accepting an offer
Before signing anything, ask Hotwire's HR team whether they've filed a Labor Condition Application for this role. The LCA must be certified by DOL before your visa application can proceed. Skipping this check early can delay your start date by several weeks.
Use Migrate Mate to prepare your E-3 filing documents
Once Hotwire confirms sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to handle your E-3 filing paperwork. The platform pairs you with a dedicated E-3 visa expert who prepares your full application for a flat fee, which is significantly less than traditional immigration attorney costs at comparable agencies.
Verify your salary against DOL prevailing wage requirements
E-3 requires your offered salary to meet the prevailing wage for your role and location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your specific job title in Hotwire's office city before negotiating, so you don't accept an offer that falls short of the DOL threshold.
Prepare for E-3 interview questions about nonimmigrant intent
Consular officers at Australian embassies will probe your ties to Australia and your intent to return after your U.S. assignment ends. Prepare concrete examples of family, property, or professional commitments at home that demonstrate you plan to maintain Australian residence alongside U.S. employment at Hotwire.
Hotwire Public Relations Group LLC E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Hotwire Public Relations Group sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Hotwire Public Relations Group has sponsored E-3 visas for Australian professionals. Sponsorship is typically tied to specialty occupation roles in public relations, integrated communications, and account management. Because E-3 requires employer participation in the Labor Condition Application process, you'll need to confirm sponsorship willingness directly with Hotwire's HR or talent team during the hiring process.
Which roles at Hotwire Public Relations Group are eligible for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at Hotwire tends to align with roles that clearly require a relevant bachelor's degree, such as account manager, communications strategist, PR specialist, and senior consultant positions. Generalist or coordinator-level roles may face more scrutiny under the specialty occupation standard, so mid-level and senior positions in defined practice areas are stronger candidates for sponsorship.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Hotwire Public Relations Group?
After receiving an offer, ask Hotwire to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically certifies within seven business days. Once certified, you complete the DS-160 online, pay the MRV fee, and schedule a visa interview at a U.S. consulate in Australia. Migrate Mate can prepare and review your full application package to make sure nothing is missing before your interview.
How long does the E-3 sponsorship process take at Hotwire Public Relations Group?
The overall timeline from offer acceptance to visa stamp is typically four to eight weeks for straightforward cases. The DOL LCA certification takes around seven business days. Consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth is the main variable. Perth sometimes has shorter wait times than Sydney or Melbourne, so checking all three locations when scheduling can help.
How do I find open E-3 jobs at Hotwire Public Relations Group?
Search Hotwire's careers page directly and filter for roles in your specialty area. You can also use Migrate Mate, which surfaces employers with verified E-3 LCA filing history so you can identify and target companies that have actively sponsored Australian professionals. Reaching out to Hotwire's talent team to confirm E-3 willingness before applying saves time if sponsorship is your primary requirement.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Hotwire Public Relations Group?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
