Align your degree to the role
E-3 eligibility requires your degree field to match the specialty occupation. For software and technology roles at Kraken Technologies U.S., a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline gives your application the clearest path through USCIS review.
Check prevailing wage before negotiating
Your offered salary must meet the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Before accepting any offer at Kraken Technologies U.S., run your job title and location through the OFLC Wage Search to confirm the salary clears the threshold for your wage level.
Confirm the LCA is certified before your interview
Your visa interview can't proceed until the employer's Labor Condition Application is DOL-certified. Follow up with Kraken Technologies US's HR or immigration team to confirm LCA certification is complete before you schedule your consular appointment.
Use O*NET to validate your specialty occupation
Consular officers assess whether your role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Pull your job title's profile from O*NET to document the degree requirements and typical education levels, then cross-reference that language with your offer letter before your interview.
Search Kraken Technologies U.S. roles on Migrate Mate
Finding E-3-eligible openings at Kraken Technologies U.S. is faster when you filter for verified sponsors. Search Migrate Mate's job board to surface technology and software roles at Kraken Technologies U.S. that align with your degree and E-3 eligibility criteria.
Prepare for the nonimmigrant intent question
E-3 visas carry a dual-intent presumption against permanent residence, unlike H-1B visa. At your consular interview, be ready to explain your ties to Australia and your intent to return, especially if you've held prior U.S. visas or have family connections in the country.
