Target specialty occupation roles directly
Lactalis American Group's E-3 sponsorship applies to roles requiring a specific bachelor's degree, so focus your applications on food science, quality systems, process engineering, or supply chain positions. General operations roles may not meet the specialty occupation threshold USCIS requires.
Map your degree to the job description
Your degree field must directly relate to the role you're applying for. Use O*NET to confirm the typical education requirements for your target job title at a food and beverage manufacturer before submitting your application.
Verify prevailing wage before negotiating salary
Lactalis American Group must pay you at least the prevailing wage for your role and location under DOL rules. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your job title and region before your offer conversation, so you know the floor.
Ask HR about LCA timing during the offer stage
The Labor Condition Application must be certified by DOL before your visa interview. Ask Lactalis American Group's HR team early in the offer process who handles LCA filing and how long their internal approval steps typically take to avoid delays.
Search Lactalis E-3 openings through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to find current Lactalis American Group job listings filtered for E-3 sponsorship. It surfaces roles by employer and occupation, so you can identify which teams are actively hiring Australians without sorting through unsponsored postings.
Prepare a credentials brief for your interview panel
Food and beverage manufacturers often involve technical hiring managers unfamiliar with E-3 requirements. Bring a one-page summary showing your Australian degree, its U.S. equivalency, and a note that E-3 has no lottery and requires no employer-side petition filing with USCIS before your consular appointment.
Lactalis American Group E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Lactalis American Group sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Lactalis American Group sponsors E-3 visas for eligible Australian nationals in specialty occupation roles. The company has a broad immigration program that includes H-1B visa and employment-based Green Card pathways, and E-3 sponsorship follows the same employer-side process: filing a Labor Condition Application with DOL and supporting your consular application.
Which roles at Lactalis American Group typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles in food science, quality assurance, process engineering, regulatory affairs, and supply chain planning are most likely to meet the specialty occupation requirement for E-3. These positions typically require a directly related bachelor's degree, which is the core USCIS eligibility test. General production or warehouse roles usually do not qualify.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Lactalis American Group?
Once you have a written job offer, Lactalis American Group's HR or legal team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. After LCA certification, you apply directly at a U.S. consulate in Australia using the certified LCA, your DS-160, and supporting credentials. There is no USCIS petition and no lottery involved in the E-3 process.
How long does E-3 sponsorship take at Lactalis American Group?
DOL typically certifies the LCA within seven business days. Consular appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth then determines the overall timeline, which can range from a few weeks to a couple of months depending on current wait times. Starting the LCA as soon as you have a signed offer letter minimizes delays.
How do I find open E-3 jobs at Lactalis American Group?
Migrate Mate lists current Lactalis American Group openings filtered for E-3 sponsorship eligibility, so you can identify active roles without guessing which postings will support visa sponsorship. Cross-reference with Lactalis American Group's careers page and focus on roles in quality, engineering, or food science where the specialty occupation bar is clearest.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Lactalis American Group?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
