We’re hiring a Creative Lead to help shape the future of learning at Pluralsight and drive the creative strategy for our most senior technology experts who we fondly call Author Fellows.
As our Creative Lead, you’ll help translate expertise into compelling, high-impact experiences for learners and customers. You’ll partner with our Author Fellows to turn complex ideas in AI, security, and cloud into clear, compelling learning experiences and executive-ready content. The creative material includes (but is not limited to) learning presentations, motion graphics, architectural diagrams, illustrations, animations, course artwork, study guides, and video thumbnails/slide animations. If you’re someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity, collaborating with brilliant minds, and experimenting with new ways of creating—this role is for you.
Who you’re committed to being:
- You enjoy learning and are open to new ways of doing things.
- You are not afraid to be yourself, experiment, make mistakes and learn from them, ask questions, or voice your concerns.
- When communicating you are self-aware, insightful, and proactive.
- You are a team member first and individual contributor second. You are aware that high-performing teams are only as strong as their weakest link.
- You believe in continuous improvement and request frequent feedback from others.
What you’ll do:
- Transform technical curriculum and knowledge into dynamic, visually engaging courses
- Partner with Fellows to create executive-ready presentations and customer materials
- Active Fellows externally with social-first content
- Design supporting assets (slides, visuals, frameworks, light motion, video edits) that elevate clarity and impact
Experience you’ll bring:
- Brings strength in presentation design and visual storytelling
- Strong foundation in graphic design and presentation design
- Comfortable with basic motion design and video editing
- Thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
- Is curious about how AI is reshaping creative work and willing to experiment with new ways of working
- Can guide conversations, redirect when needed, and say “no” constructively
- Open to trying new approaches and iterating quickly
- Confident, calm, and adaptable
- Able to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiar with UI/UX design and Figma
- An understanding of instructional design
Requirements
- Experience in graphic design as well as basic motion design and video editing; portfolio required
- Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree.
- This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.
Why you’ll love working here:
- We work in a blended environment that supports collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams.
- We are mission-driven, shaping the future of tech upskilling and delivering impact that matters.
- We foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone can contribute and thrive.
- We are always learning, creating an environment where you can take on new challenges, expand your skills, and grow with purpose.
- Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus eligibility, comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, professional development funds, and more.

Align your degree to the role
Pluralsight's technical roles require a specialty occupation match between your degree field and the job. A software engineering or computer science degree supporting a product or engineering role is straightforward. A business degree applying for a technical program manager role needs a stronger narrative.
Research Pluralsight's engineering team structure
Pluralsight organizes technical work around product-aligned engineering teams. Target roles in areas like platform infrastructure, content delivery, or B2B product, where degree-to-role alignment is cleaner and E-3 specialty occupation arguments are easier for the employer to support.
Verify your prevailing wage before negotiating
Before accepting an offer, run your job title and location through the OFLC Wage Search to confirm the Level I or Level II prevailing wage. Your offered salary must meet or exceed that figure for the Labor Condition Application to certify, and Pluralsight's HR team will need to confirm this before filing.
Confirm Pluralsight's E-3 filing process early
Ask during the offer stage whether Pluralsight handles E-3 filings in-house or through outside counsel. Knowing this tells you how much documentation you'll need to prepare independently and how quickly the Labor Condition Application can be submitted to DOL before your consulate appointment.
Use Migrate Mate to prepare your application documents
Once you have an offer from Pluralsight, Migrate Mate can manage the end-to-end E-3 filing, including the Labor Condition Application and consulate preparation. This is particularly useful if Pluralsight's HR team is less experienced with E-3 specifically versus H-1B visa filings.
Check your O*NET occupation profile before applying
Look up your target role in O*NET to confirm it classifies as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree. For roles at the intersection of technology and business at Pluralsight, like solutions engineering or technical account management, the classification is less obvious and worth verifying upfront.
Pluralsight E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Pluralsight sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, Pluralsight sponsors E-3 visas for qualified Australian professionals in technology and software roles. The company operates in a sector where E-3 sponsorship is a documented part of hiring for international talent. If you have an offer in a qualifying specialty occupation role, Pluralsight has the infrastructure to support the filing process through DOL and USCIS.
Which roles at Pluralsight typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Software engineering, data engineering, product management, and technical program management roles at Pluralsight are the most common pathways for E-3 sponsorship. These positions generally satisfy the specialty occupation requirement because they mandate a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Roles that blend technical and commercial functions, such as solutions engineering, may require additional documentation to establish specialty occupation status.
How do I start the E-3 application process at Pluralsight?
After receiving a job offer, Pluralsight's HR or legal team initiates the Labor Condition Application with DOL. Once the LCA is certified, you file the DS-160, schedule your consulate appointment in Australia, and attend the visa interview. Migrate Mate can manage the preparation and filing steps on your behalf, which is useful if you want to avoid coordinating directly with outside immigration counsel.
How long does E-3 sponsorship at Pluralsight take from offer to start date?
The E-3 timeline is shorter than most other work visas. LCA certification typically takes around seven business days once submitted to DOL. Consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth is the main variable. Most applicants move from offer letter to visa stamp within four to six weeks, though consulate wait times fluctuate and can extend that window.
What should I know about E-3 renewals if I take a role at Pluralsight?
E-3 visas are granted in two-year increments and can be renewed indefinitely as long as you remain employed in a qualifying role at Pluralsight. Each renewal requires a new LCA certification from DOL and a return consulate appointment in Australia or through a U.S. consulate abroad. USCIS does not process E-3 renewals domestically, so planning your renewal timeline around consulate availability is essential.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at Pluralsight?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
