Align your degree to RCM-specific roles
Revenue cycle management technology roles at R1 RCM typically require a degree directly tied to the position, such as computer science, health informatics, or information systems. Use O*NET to confirm your occupation's degree requirements before applying, since a misaligned degree is the most common E-3 eligibility failure.
Target implementation and analytics job families
R1 RCM's strongest E-3 hiring tends to fall in technical implementation, data analytics, and software development supporting healthcare clients. Search for roles in these functions specifically, since general business or operations positions are less likely to meet the specialty occupation threshold required for E-3 eligibility.
Confirm the employer will file the LCA before accepting
Before signing an offer, ask R1 RCM's HR team to confirm they'll file a Labor Condition Application with DOL. Some technology companies route E-3 candidates through outside counsel, which can add weeks. Clarifying this upfront prevents surprises once you're ready to schedule your consulate appointment.
Check prevailing wage requirements for your role
R1 RCM must certify your salary meets the prevailing wage for your specific occupation and work location before the LCA is submitted. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the wage level for your job title and city so you can verify your offer meets DOL minimums before the process starts.
Use Migrate Mate to verify R1 RCM's filing history
Before investing time in the interview process, use Migrate Mate to review R1 RCM's LCA filing history by occupation. This tells you which roles the company has sponsored before, which work locations appear most frequently, and whether your target job family has a clear sponsorship track record.
Book your consulate appointment after LCA certification
DOL certifies LCAs within seven business days in most cases, but your consulate appointment can only be scheduled after certification is complete. Australian consulates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth all process E-3 applications, so check current wait times across all three locations to find the earliest available slot.
R1 Rcm E-3 Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does R1 Rcm Holdco sponsor E-3 visas?
Yes, R1 RCM Holdco sponsors E-3 visas for qualifying Australian professionals. The company operates in healthcare revenue cycle technology, and E-3 sponsorship is most common in technical roles such as software engineering, data analytics, and implementation consulting. You can verify the company's sponsorship activity through Migrate Mate, which surfaces LCA filing data by employer and occupation.
Which roles at R1 Rcm Holdco typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship at R1 RCM is most common in roles that require a directly related bachelor's degree, including software developers, data analysts, implementation specialists, and health informatics professionals. General administrative or sales support roles are less likely to meet the specialty occupation definition that E-3 requires. Confirm your specific role qualifies before beginning the process.
How do I start the E-3 application process at R1 Rcm Holdco?
Once you have a written job offer, R1 RCM's HR or immigration team files a Labor Condition Application with DOL. After LCA certification, typically within seven business days, you complete the DS-160 and schedule your visa interview at an Australian consulate. USCIS is not involved in the E-3 consular process, which removes the petition filing step required for most other work visas.
How long does E-3 visa processing take for R1 Rcm Holdco roles?
The LCA certification stage usually takes around seven business days. After that, your total timeline depends on consulate appointment availability in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth, which can range from a few days to several weeks depending on current wait times. Most straightforward E-3 cases receive a decision at the interview itself, making the consulate appointment the primary timeline variable.
How do I strengthen my E-3 application for a technology role at R1 Rcm Holdco?
Bring documentation that clearly connects your degree to the specific role, including your academic transcripts and a credential evaluation if your qualification is from an Australian institution. The consular officer will assess whether your degree directly supports the position. For complex cases or if your degree field is adjacent rather than exact, having a dedicated E-3 visa expert review your documents before the interview reduces the risk of a 221(g) administrative hold.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 sponsorship at R1 Rcm Holdco?
E-3 employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, determined when they file a Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, ensuring Australian hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
