Frame your CS experience around product adoption
Figma's Customer Success roles center on driving adoption of a design tool, not just managing accounts. Tailor your resume to show measurable outcomes like onboarding completion rates or retention metrics tied to product usage, not just relationship management.
Confirm specialty occupation framing before applying
H-1B sponsorship for Customer Success roles requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Roles focused on technical implementation, solutions consulting, or enterprise onboarding at a software company carry a stronger case than generalist account management titles.
Target roles that include technical onboarding responsibilities
Figma's enterprise-facing CS positions often involve stakeholder training and workflow integration for design systems. Roles with implementation or solutions components are more likely to support H-1B or E-3 sponsorship than those scoped purely to renewals and upsells.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Figma CS roles by visa type
Figma posts Customer Success openings across experience levels, and not all carry equal sponsorship scope. Use Migrate Mate to filter Figma's active roles by the visa categories they support so you apply only where your status aligns.
Clarify sponsorship scope before the final interview stage
Figma sponsors multiple visa categories for Customer Success, including H-1B, E-3, and F-1 OPT. Raise your visa status early in the process so the recruiting team can confirm which pathway applies to your situation before an offer is extended.

Find Customer Success at Figma JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Figma sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Success?
Yes, Figma sponsors H-1B visas for Customer Success roles, particularly positions with a technical or enterprise implementation focus. For H-1B sponsorship, the role needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria, which is more straightforward for Customer Success titles that involve software onboarding, solutions delivery, or design system consulting than for purely relationship-focused account management roles.
Which visa types does Figma sponsor for Customer Success roles?
Figma has sponsored H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, EB-2, EB-3, and F-1 OPT extensions for Customer Success professionals. H-1B is the most common path for non-Australian, non-Chilean or Singaporean nationals. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which has no lottery and a separate annual cap. F-1 OPT holders can start immediately while the employer initiates longer-term sponsorship.
What qualifications does Figma expect for Customer Success roles?
Most Customer Success roles at Figma require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, communications, or a technical discipline, along with demonstrated experience managing enterprise software accounts. Familiarity with design workflows, SaaS onboarding, or cross-functional stakeholder management at a product-led company strengthens your candidacy significantly. Experience working with large creative or product teams is a practical differentiator.
How do I apply for Customer Success jobs at Figma?
Applications go through Figma's careers page, where Customer Success roles are listed under the go-to-market or customer experience functions. Before applying, verify that the specific role supports your visa category. Migrate Mate aggregates Figma's open Customer Success positions and filters them by sponsorship type, so you can confirm fit before investing time in the application process.
How do I plan my visa timeline when targeting a Customer Success role at Figma?
The timeline depends on your current status. F-1 OPT holders can start work while Figma files an H-1B petition by the April 1 cap deadline for an October 1 start. E-3 applicants typically receive consular decisions within two to four weeks. For cap-subject H-1B cases, the registration lottery runs in March, so applications submitted after April may not receive a filing slot until the following fiscal year.
