Tailor your resume to SaaS sales metrics
Figma evaluates Sales candidates on pipeline generation, quota attainment, and deal cycles in software or design tooling markets. Quantify your wins in terms that map directly to B2B SaaS, not just general sales volume.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring Sales roles
Not every Sales job listing discloses sponsorship upfront. Use Migrate Mate to browse Sales openings at Figma and similar SaaS companies that have a documented history of filing work visas for this function.
Demonstrate enterprise deal experience for strategic roles
Figma's Sales org is heavily oriented toward large enterprise accounts in product, design, and engineering teams. Candidates with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder software deals are more likely to clear the bar for roles that justify sponsorship investment.

Find Sales at Figma JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Figma sponsor H-1B visas for Sales roles?
Yes, Figma sponsors H-1B visas for Sales positions. The company has an established pattern of filing work visa petitions across its go-to-market functions, including account executives and sales engineers. Sponsorship is more common for mid-market and enterprise-focused roles where specialized SaaS sales experience justifies the filing investment. Confirming sponsorship eligibility for a specific role during the recruiter screen is the most reliable approach.
How do I apply for Sales jobs at Figma?
Applications go through Figma's careers page, where Sales roles are listed under go-to-market or revenue functions. Tailor your application to show SaaS or design-tool sales experience, quota performance, and familiarity with enterprise sales cycles. If you need visa sponsorship, state that clearly early in the process so the recruiting team can flag the role internally. Migrate Mate also surfaces verified Sales openings at Figma filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility.
Which visa types does Figma commonly use for Sales hires?
Figma sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Sales roles, as well as supporting F-1 OPT extensions and green card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. E-3 is available to Australian citizens only and has no lottery, making it a faster path for eligible candidates. H-1B1 is available to Chilean and Singaporean nationals. H-1B requires entering the annual USCIS lottery, which runs each March for an October start.
What qualifications does Figma expect for sponsored Sales roles?
Figma typically looks for demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS sales, with an emphasis on enterprise or mid-market deal management. For roles requiring sponsorship, expect a higher bar around domain expertise, since the company needs to demonstrate to USCIS that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is standard, and a track record of hitting quota in a software or platform sales environment strengthens your profile significantly.
How do I navigate the timeline between a Figma offer and visa approval?
For H-1B, the petition window opens in April and employment can begin October 1 if selected in the lottery. For E-3 and H-1B1, there's no lottery and processing can move faster, often within a few weeks of filing. Work with Figma's HR team early to confirm whether your start date can align with USCIS timelines, and ask whether the company uses premium processing, which reduces USCIS review to 15 business days.
