We're looking for a Product Designer to join the Core Product Experience team at a genuine inflection point, where the work happening right now will define what Front becomes over the next few years. This role will be leading design for the core inbox experience, setting the bar for quality and craft as the product grows, and shaping decisions that affect every team and customer that relies on Front every day.
What will you be doing?
- Lead design for Front's core inbox and app experience and set the bar for quality and craft as other product teams build into it.
- Lead user research, reaching out to customers directly, running interviews and usability sessions, and translating what you learn into design direction.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Support to define requirements and ship solutions that hold up under real-world use.
- Design across web, desktop, and mobile, meeting users where they work.
- Communicate your vision through mock-ups, documentation, and prototypes, with prototyping as a primary tool for thinking and alignment.
- Represent users in tradeoff, timeline, and experience discussions with the conviction to advocate for the right call.
- Contribute to building and maintaining the design system with clean, usable documentation.
- Help build a team culture where great work is the standard and honest feedback is how you get there.
What skills and experience do you need?
- 5+ years designing and shipping complex products across web and mobile platforms; additional experience designing for enterprise or operations-critical software is a strong plus.
- A portfolio demonstrating a strong end-to-end design process and refined UI/UX skills. Prototypes are required.
- Demonstrated experience designing AI-powered experiences. You understand what AI can and can't do, have built it into products you've shipped, and that work is visible in your portfolio.
- Fluency with AI tools as part of your active design practice, including using AI for prototyping, iteration, and making production-level changes.
- Experience conducting independent user research, including recruiting, interviewing, and translating findings into design direction. Comfort reaching out to customers directly and owning the research process end to end.
- Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems with clean, scalable structure and documentation.
- Being collaborative by default, with low ego, strong communication skills, and the ability to connect design decisions clearly to the problems they solve.

Job Roles at Frontapp Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Frontapp Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
Frontapp operates in SaaS and enterprise software, where engineering, product, and data roles typically meet H-1B specialty occupation standards. Focus your application on technical positions where your degree field directly matches the job's core responsibilities.
Prioritize Green Card pathway conversations early
Frontapp has a notably stronger Green Card sponsorship track record than H-1B. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, ask about permanent residency timelines during interviews, it signals you're thinking about tenure, not just a short-term stint.
Understand the Technology & Software hiring cycle
SaaS companies like Frontapp tend to hire in waves tied to funding rounds and product roadmaps. Applying during active growth phases increases your odds of landing a role where sponsorship budget is already allocated and headcount is approved.
Frame your experience around customer-facing infrastructure and collaboration tools
Frontapp's core product sits at the intersection of communication and workflow automation. Candidates who can speak to experience building or supporting similar enterprise platforms stand out in a field where many applicants lack relevant domain context.
Search for Frontapp openings through verified sponsorship data
Not every job posting mentions visa sponsorship upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you confirm Frontapp is actively hiring before you invest time in a full application.
Prepare for a multi-stage technical process
Technology & Software companies at Frontapp's scale typically run structured interviews including system design and cross-functional collaboration assessments. International applicants should be ready to demonstrate both technical depth and communication skills across multiple rounds.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Frontapp sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Frontapp does sponsor H-1B visas, though the majority of its sponsorship activity has been concentrated in permanent resident pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3. H-1B sponsorship at Frontapp tends to be selective, typically reserved for specialized technical or product roles where the candidate's qualifications are a strong fit for the specialty occupation standard.
Which visa types does Frontapp sponsor?
Frontapp sponsors both nonimmigrant and immigrant work visas, primarily the H-1B for temporary work authorization and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Cards for permanent residency. The company's sponsorship mix skews toward Green Card filings, which suggests it invests in retaining international talent over the long term rather than limiting support to short-term visa categories.
Which departments or roles at Frontapp are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Frontapp is most common in technical and product-focused roles, including software engineering, backend infrastructure, and data-oriented positions. These roles align most cleanly with H-1B specialty occupation requirements and tend to have the clearest degree-to-job-duty mapping that immigration filings require. Business operations and go-to-market roles are less commonly sponsored.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Frontapp?
The most reliable approach is to use a platform that cross-references job openings with verified sponsorship history. Migrate Mate lets you browse Frontapp's current openings alongside its actual sponsorship track record, so you're not guessing whether the company will support your visa. This is especially useful given that H-1B and Green Card sponsorship is rarely stated explicitly in job postings.
How do I approach the Frontapp application process as an international candidate?
Disclose your visa status early, ideally in a cover letter or recruiter screen, so both sides can confirm sponsorship is on the table before investing in a lengthy interview process. Frontapp's Green Card sponsorship track record suggests the company is comfortable with longer-term immigration commitments, so framing your interest in tenure and growth can strengthen your case with hiring managers.
