Align your credentials to EB-2 or EB-3
Artech sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 petitions, so your degree level and years of experience determine which pathway applies. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or exceptional ability; EB-3 covers professionals with a bachelor's degree. Confirm your fit before applying to avoid a mismatched sponsorship track.
Target long-term placements over short contracts
Artech operates as a staffing firm, so Green Card sponsorship is typically reserved for consultants placed on extended or direct-hire engagements. When interviewing, ask explicitly whether the client role is structured for permanent placement, since only those arrangements typically support PERM labor certification filing.
Request a PERM timeline discussion during offer negotiations
PERM labor certification requires DOL to verify no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. Artech must initiate that process, which can take a year or more before an I-140 petition is filed. Confirming Artech's internal process timeline at the offer stage prevents surprises later.
Benchmark your salary against OFLC Wage Search data
PERM requires Artech to pay at least the prevailing wage for your job title and location. Pull your occupation's wage level from OFLC Wage Search before salary negotiations. If your offered rate falls below the prevailing wage floor, PERM certification will be denied regardless of your qualifications.
Map your job duties to O*NET before the PERM audit
DOL scrutinizes whether your actual day-to-day duties match the job description filed in PERM. Use O*NET to verify your role's standard task list aligns with what Artech will document. Discrepancies between your consulting work and the official job description are a common audit trigger in tech staffing cases.
Use Migrate Mate to track Artech's filing history
Before accepting an offer, verify that Artech actively files Green Card petitions for roles matching your job code and location. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application filing history by employer, so you can confirm sponsorship activity for Technology & Software positions before committing to the engagement.
Artech, LLC Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Artech, LLC sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Artech, LLC sponsors Green Card visas for qualified professionals in Technology & Software roles. Sponsorship is typically tied to long-term or direct-hire placements rather than short-term consulting contracts. Candidates should confirm the nature of the engagement during the hiring process to determine whether Green Card sponsorship is available for their specific role.
Which roles at Artech, LLC typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship?
Artech most commonly sponsors Green Card petitions for technical roles including software engineers, IT consultants, systems analysts, and related technology positions. Sponsorship eligibility depends on the client placement, employment structure, and whether the role meets DOL's requirements for PERM labor certification under the EB-2 or EB-3 classification.
How do I start the Green Card process at Artech, LLC?
Raise Green Card sponsorship directly with your recruiter or account manager once you have a confirmed long-term placement. Artech's legal or HR team typically initiates PERM labor certification through DOL, followed by an I-140 petition filed with USCIS. Starting the conversation early in your engagement gives Artech time to complete the required recruitment steps before filing.
How long does the Green Card process take through Artech, LLC?
The full Green Card timeline through an employer like Artech typically spans several years. PERM labor certification alone can take 12 to 18 months, followed by I-140 adjudication at USCIS. If your priority date is current, adjustment of status or consular processing adds additional time. Country of birth significantly affects the wait once an I-140 is approved.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Artech, LLC on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at employers with verified Green Card sponsorship history, including Artech, LLC. You can filter by visa type and job category to find Technology & Software positions where sponsorship is active. Reviewing Artech's filing history on Migrate Mate before applying helps you target roles most likely to include Green Card support.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Artech, LLC?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
