Job Roles at Bentley Systems
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Bentley Systems Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Bentley Systems' Green Card sponsorships concentrate in software engineering, infrastructure technology, and product development. Roles requiring specialized expertise in civil, structural, or geotechnical software are the strongest candidates for employer-sponsored permanent residence.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Most Bentley Systems Green Card filings go through PERM, which requires the employer to document recruitment efforts and certify no qualified U.S. workers were displaced. The process is employer-driven, so building a relationship with your HR and immigration team matters early.
Clarify sponsorship intentions during the offer stage
Ask directly about Green Card sponsorship timelines during negotiations. Bentley Systems operates in a competitive technology sector where retaining specialized talent through permanent residence is a recognized practice, making it a reasonable conversation to have before accepting an offer.
Search verified Green Card sponsors before applying
Not every technology company sponsors consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize Bentley Systems and similar employers with an established Green Card track record over companies with no filings.
Align your credentials with Bentley's core product areas
Bentley Systems builds infrastructure engineering software. Candidates with backgrounds in civil engineering, geospatial technology, or enterprise infrastructure software are well-positioned for roles that historically receive Green Card sponsorship due to their specialized degree and experience requirements.

Does Bentley Systems sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Bentley Systems sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees. The company files petitions primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories, which are the standard pathways for technology and engineering professionals. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an employee has demonstrated value in a role requiring specialized skills.
Which roles at Bentley Systems are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Bentley Systems is most common in software engineering, product development, and infrastructure technology roles. Positions requiring a specific technical degree and specialized domain expertise, such as computational engineering or geospatial software development, align closely with the specialty occupation criteria used in EB-2 and EB-3 filings.
How do I start the Green Card process at Bentley Systems?
The process typically starts with your direct manager and HR team confirming sponsorship intent. Bentley Systems then works with an immigration attorney to file a PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You'll need to provide documentation of your education, work history, and credentials throughout.
How long does the Green Card process take at Bentley Systems?
Timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category used. For most nationalities outside India and China, the EB-2 or EB-3 process from PERM filing to Green Card approval takes roughly two to four years. Indian and Chinese nationals face significantly longer waits due to per-country annual caps on immigrant visas.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Bentley Systems?
Search Bentley Systems' careers page for open roles, then cross-reference with Migrate Mate to confirm current sponsorship activity before applying. Migrate Mate tracks verified Green Card sponsors so you can identify which Bentley Systems roles and departments have an active sponsorship history, saving you time during your job search.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Bentley Systems?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
