The Team: Value Engineering operates at the heart of Celonis, bridging the gap between our Go-to-Market strategy, our Product roadmap, and our customers' realized value. In Financial Services, our team comprises a blend of Industry Executives, Technical Principals, and Value Engineers dedicated to transforming the operating models of the world's largest Banks, Insurers, and Asset Managers.
The Role: As the Director of Value Engineering (FSI), you will lead the Financial Services practice for North America. You will serve as the strategic leader for the vertical, partnering with Sales Leadership to define the regional value agenda and orchestrating a multi-disciplinary team to drive end-to-end customer value journeys. You will lead a diverse organization—ranging from strategic Industry Partners to technical execution teams—to translate high-level institutional goals (e.g., Capital Efficiency, Operational Resilience, Combined Ratio optimization) into realized P&L impact. You will serve as the Executive Sponsor for our most strategic accounts, ensuring Celonis is embedded as the default transformation platform across the Office of the COO, CIO, and Chief Digital Officer.
The work you’ll do:
Identify & Frame Strategic Value
- Translate Institutional Strategy: Partner with C-Level executives (COO, CIO, Heads of Lines of Business) to map bank and carrier strategic goals across Banking and Insurance —such as T+1 Settlement Readiness, Regulatory Compliance, or Claims Modernization—to specific Celonis capabilities.
- Drive the COO & CTO Agenda: Bridge the gap between technical innovation and operational reality. Ensure the team designs solutions that solve critical business problems (e.g., Reducing Manual Touchpoints, Modernizing Legacy Systems) while wrapping every proposal in a robust ROI model that validates the investment.
- Commercial Strategy: Partner with FSI Sales Leadership to scrutinize pipeline health, qualify strategic engagements, and effectively allocate resources (deploying Industry Partners vs. Execution Teams) to maximize ARR growth.
Realize Value (Program Execution)
- Orchestrate the "Digital Twin": Guide the delivery of complex transformation programs that link siloed divisions. You will oversee execution across value chains such as targeting Trade Lifecycle (Front-to-Back), Client Onboarding (KYC/AML), and Insurance Claims (Triage/Settlement).
- Solve Systemic Challenges: Leverage your team’s deep domain expertise to tackle implementation hurdles in complex environments, defining standards for Straight-Through Processing (STP), Exception Management, and Legacy Mainframe vs. Cloud interaction.
- Executive Sponsorship: Serve as the escalation point for the customer portfolio. Facilitate high-stakes steering committees to present realized value to senior management and ensure programs hit their strategic milestones.
Scale Value & Practice Innovation
- Codify FSI Best Practices: Turn our successes into reusable assets to scale the practice. You will drive the creation of industry-specific playbooks.
- Product Feedback Loop: Act as the senior "Voice of the Customer" to Product & Engineering. You will advocate for specific development needs regarding data lineage, security, and regulatory reporting required by G-SIBs and Carriers.
Grow & Lead Talent
- Lead a Multi-Tiered Organization: Manage and mentor a diverse FSI team structure, including Client Value Partners (CVPs) and Value Engineering leaders.
- Develop World-Class Talent: Coach your direct reports on distinct tracks—helping Managers refine their leadership of execution teams, while helping CVPs sharpen their executive presence and domain authority.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources across the North American portfolio to deliver on sales, renewals, and adoption targets, balancing high-touch strategic consulting with scalable value delivery.
The qualifications you need:
- Executive Leadership Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5+ years in a people-management role within Management Consulting, Value Engineering, or Financial Services Operations.
- FSI Domain Fluency: Deep, granular understanding of the Financial Services value chain including:
- Banking: Retail and Institutional Operations, Finance, Risk & Compliance, and Payments
- Insurance: Claims (Loss Ratios), Underwriting (Risk Selection), and Policy Servicing
- Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to qualify complex engagements and drive commercial strategy. You understand the "buying center" of a financial institution and how to navigate procurement, IT security, and business stakeholder requirements.
- Technical Context: Understanding of the modern FSI technology stack and how to articulate the value of Process Intelligence within a legacy vs. modernization landscape.
- Value Realization Track Record: Proven history of leading large-scale transformation programs that impacted the P&L through operational efficiency or risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience presenting to C-Level executives (COO, CIO, CDO). You can navigate complex, matrixed organizations and use data to persuade senior stakeholders.

Job Roles at Celonis
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Celonis Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles with a clear degree requirement
Green Card sponsorship at Celonis is most common for positions requiring a specific bachelor's or advanced degree. Software engineering, data science, and product roles with defined educational prerequisites tend to qualify more cleanly for EB-2 and EB-3 petitions.
Ask about sponsorship intent during the offer stage
Celonis operates in a competitive talent market where sponsorship conversations happen at the offer stage. Raising the topic early, before signing, avoids misunderstandings and gives the company time to confirm whether the role qualifies for Green Card support.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Most Celonis Green Card cases go through PERM, where the Department of Labor must certify no qualified U.S. workers are available. Understanding this process helps you set realistic expectations and ask your employer informed questions about the recruitment testing period.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history
Not every Celonis job listing will mention Green Card sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus on companies and roles where sponsorship is an established practice rather than a maybe.
Prioritize technical and enterprise software roles
Celonis builds process intelligence software for enterprise clients, meaning its core hiring need is in technical and software roles. These positions align closely with the specialty occupation standard that underpins EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card eligibility under immigration law.
Start the conversation while on H-1B status
If you're already at Celonis on an H-1B, initiate the Green Card conversation well before your sixth year. Starting PERM early creates portability options and protects you if USCIS processing extends beyond your current authorized stay.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Celonis sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Celonis sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the United States. The company files petitions primarily under the EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories, typically for technical and enterprise software roles. Sponsorship is generally offered to employees already on work authorization who have demonstrated strong performance and long-term fit within the organization.
Which roles at Celonis are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Celonis is most common in software engineering, data engineering, product management, and enterprise solutions roles. These positions require specific technical degrees and fall clearly within the specialty occupation definition that supports EB-2 and EB-3 filings. Corporate, sales, and generalist roles are sponsored less frequently, as eligibility depends on degree specificity and job duties.
How do I start the Green Card process at Celonis?
The process typically begins with an internal conversation between you and your manager or HR business partner. Celonis works with outside immigration counsel to evaluate whether your role qualifies, initiate PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor, and then file the I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Your involvement is primarily in providing documentation, responding to requests, and tracking your priority date.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at Celonis?
Timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the visa category. For most nationalities, the full process from PERM filing to Green Card approval takes two to four years. For applicants born in India or China, the wait can be significantly longer due to per-country backlog limits. Starting the process as early as possible in your employment is the most effective way to manage the timeline.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Celonis?
Celonis posts open roles on its careers page, but listings rarely specify Green Card sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate tracks verified sponsorship history across U.S. employers, including Celonis, so you can identify which roles and departments have an established pattern of Green Card filings before applying. Focusing your applications on roles that match your technical background improves your chances of a sponsorship conversation.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Celonis?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
