Match your role to EB categories early
CEVA typically files Green Cards through EB-2 for specialist roles requiring advanced degrees and EB-3 for professional and skilled positions. Identify which category your logistics or supply chain role falls under before applying, since this shapes your entire timeline and PERM eligibility.
Document specialized logistics credentials thoroughly
CEVA's Green Card filings often cover roles with industry-specific credentials like Six Sigma, APICS CPIM, or freight forwarding licenses. Compile certifications, training records, and performance reviews that demonstrate expertise beyond general logistics knowledge before your first interview.
Research CEVA's prevailing wage obligations before negotiating
PERM requires CEVA to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your role and work location. Use the OFLC Wage Search to find the Level I through Level IV wage for your job title before salary discussions, so you enter negotiations knowing the minimum CEVA must meet.
Target CEVA's technology and engineering teams strategically
Roles in supply chain technology, warehouse automation, and network engineering at CEVA have historically aligned with Green Card sponsorship criteria more consistently than general operations positions. Prioritizing these teams increases your odds of landing in a sponsorship-eligible seat.
Confirm sponsorship intent during the offer stage
CEVA's HR and immigration teams handle Green Card commitments centrally, not at the hiring manager level. Ask specifically whether the role has Green Card sponsorship approved in the job requisition, and request written confirmation before accepting an offer to avoid ambiguity after onboarding.
Use Migrate Mate to track CEVA's filing history by role
Before applying, verify which job titles CEVA has actually filed Green Card petitions for by searching Migrate Mate's employer database. This shows you where CEVA's sponsorship is concentrated across its U.S. operations, so you apply to roles with a demonstrated sponsorship track record.
CEVA Logistics Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does CEVA Logistics sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, CEVA Logistics sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees in the United States. Sponsorship is primarily available for roles in supply chain management, logistics technology, engineering, and specialized operations functions. CEVA initiates the PERM labor certification process through DOL on behalf of eligible employees, typically after a defined period of employment.
Which roles and departments at CEVA Logistics typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at CEVA is most common in supply chain technology, network engineering, freight operations management, and corporate functions such as finance and IT. Roles requiring specialized degrees or industry certifications, particularly those difficult to fill domestically, are strongest candidates for PERM-based sponsorship through the EB-2 or EB-3 category.
How do I start the Green Card process at CEVA Logistics?
The process begins when CEVA's immigration team initiates PERM labor certification with DOL on your behalf. CEVA must conduct a formal recruitment process to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for your role. After PERM approval, CEVA files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You'll need to coordinate closely with CEVA's HR and legal teams throughout.
How long does the Green Card process take at CEVA Logistics?
The full timeline varies significantly based on your country of birth and the employment-based category. PERM certification alone can take six to eighteen months with DOL. After I-140 approval, applicants born in high-demand countries like India or China may wait years for a visa number to become available due to per-country backlogs tracked by USCIS.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship roles at CEVA Logistics?
Search Migrate Mate's platform to identify which CEVA Logistics job titles have active Green Card filing history across U.S. locations. This helps you target roles where sponsorship is already established rather than roles where you'd need to negotiate sponsorship from scratch. Cross-reference with CEVA's current job postings to find openings in those high-sponsorship functions.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at CEVA Logistics?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
