Job Description
We are FIS. Our technology powers the world’s economy and our teams bring innovation to life. We champion diversity to deliver the best products and solutions for our colleagues, clients and communities. If you’re ready to start learning, growing and making an impact with a career in FinTech, we’d like to know: Are you FIS?
About the role:
We are hiring a strategic, consultative Client Executive to own and grow (a) Tier 1 strategic account(s); clients with >$20M annual spend and complex, multi-year transformation agendas. This is not a “coverage” role. You will hold full commercial ownership, set the multi-year account strategy, and orchestrate cross-functional teams (product, pre-sales, delivery, consulting, exec sponsors, partners) to drive measurable client outcomes and material revenue expansion.
You will operate comfortably at C-suite/Board level, translating business strategy into programs enabled by FIS platforms and services, and closing large, transformation deals: from origination through renewal, expansion and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and executive governance.
Your experience should include full responsibility and accountability for winning multi-million-dollar technology and transformation deals. Additionally, you must have a demonstrable track record of sustained year-on-year success in delivering above quota and strong client references.
Asset Finance experience is a strong preference, but not as important as a proven background in large-scale FinTech deals and true mastery of the sales process from origination to ongoing successful client management (articulated in superior client-satisfaction scores.)
This role is intentionally selective. We are investing significantly in the right individual and will only hire candidates with a proven track record of excellence in managing and expanding large, enterprise FinTech relationships.
About the team:
FIS Asset Finance provides flexible, fully integrated platforms supporting the full Asset Finance lifecycle, from Origination and Pricing through Servicing and Portfolio Management. Our solutions enable banks, captives, and specialist lenders to modernize operations, meet regulatory demands, and differentiate through technology, data, and analytics on a global scale.
This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the best companies to sell for in the FinTech industry. We offer state-of-the-art sales technology, a comprehensive onboarding program, extensive product and solutions training and support, ample career advancement and leadership development opportunities, competitive compensation packages, and many other benefits.
What you will be doing:
- Build and strengthen already notable strategic commercial partnerships with FIS’ largest and most discerning Asset Finance clients.
- Define and execute multi-year growth strategies in concentric circles; national, North American, and global that align to the enterprise objectives as well as local requirements.
- Ability to switch between large enterprise transformation programs and software deals, and tactical engagements and solutions.
- Growing relationships across the C-level as well as operational managers to understand client requirements across all levels and aspects.
- Build, lead, and manage (internal) win teams across disciplines to deliver complex solutions to solve multivariate problems, including external partners.
- Tight management of predictability relating to forecast, resource management, utilizing senior FIS resources as well as protecting FIS from a legal and revenue perspective.
- Significant (domestic and international) travel is required for up to 50% of your time.
What you need:
- A growth-mindset seeing the art-of-the-possible in building mutual partnerships.
- An ability to take strategic information such as annual reports and analyst briefings and translate this to required business capabilities that FIS can help the client deliver.
- Complex sales experience with domain knowledge of financial technology; Asset Finance preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience selling large enterprise-wide financial software with complex implementation requirements.
- A deep understanding of leading-edge technologies such as AI, LLM, Analytics, and Digital technologies and how they can be leveraged to achieve business outcomes.
- Natural curiosity to keep on top of Asset Finance industry trends as well as technology- and macro-economic-developments and how they impact our clients.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field.
- An innate drive to succeed, deliver professional excellence and a win as a team.
- Being an ambassador internally and externally; build teams that make change happen.
- Must be based in the United States
What we offer you:
At FIS, we are as committed to growing our employees’ careers as our own business. We offer:
- Unparalleled access to C-level decision makers inside our clients.
- A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and exciting growth opportunities.
- A very competitive salary and benefits with uncapped earnings potential.
- The opportunity to work with (some of) the brightest minds in the FinTech industry – especially in Asset Finance.

- A fantastic range of benefits designed to help support your lifestyle and well-being.

Align your resume to EB-2 or EB-3 requirements
FIS files Green Cards across EB-2 and EB-3 categories depending on the role's requirements. Roles requiring a bachelor's degree with progressive experience often route through EB-3, while positions needing an advanced degree or specialized expertise may qualify for EB-2. Tailor your credentials to match the category your target role supports.
Research PERM labor certification before your interview
FIS Green Card sponsorship typically begins with the PERM labor certification process through DOL. Understanding that PERM requires FIS to advertise the role and prove no qualified U.S. workers are available helps you frame your unique skills as genuinely differentiated during interviews, not just technically qualified.
Target FIS teams with recurring sponsorship patterns
FIS sponsors most heavily in enterprise software, payments technology, and data engineering. Applying to teams building core banking platforms or payment processing infrastructure puts you in the highest-volume sponsorship pipeline. Job titles like software engineer, data architect, and systems analyst appear consistently in FIS's Green Card filings.
Verify your prevailing wage tier using OFLC Wage Search
Before negotiating your FIS offer, use OFLC Wage Search to confirm the prevailing wage for your job title and location. FIS must meet DOL wage requirements throughout the PERM process, so knowing your wage level in advance helps you assess whether your offered salary supports a defensible Green Card filing.
Use Migrate Mate to track FIS's filing history by role
Searching FIS's Labor Condition Application data by occupation code shows which roles the company has sponsored most consistently. Migrate Mate surfaces this DOL disclosure data by employer and job title, so you can confirm that your specific role has a sponsorship history at FIS before investing in the application process.
Secure a written sponsorship commitment before joining
FIS's internal policy on Green Card sponsorship can vary by business unit and manager. Once you receive an offer, ask HR directly whether your specific role is eligible for Green Card sponsorship and request confirmation in writing. Verbal assurances during recruiting don't bind the company through the multi-year PERM and I-140 process.
FIS Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does FIS sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, FIS sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees, primarily in technology and software roles. Sponsorship is most common in software engineering, data, and enterprise systems positions. FIS uses both EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories depending on the role's requirements and the candidate's qualifications. Sponsorship eligibility can vary by business unit, so confirm directly with your hiring team.
Which roles at FIS are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at FIS is concentrated in technical roles within software engineering, payments technology, data architecture, and enterprise systems. Positions tied to core banking infrastructure, cloud platforms, and data engineering consistently appear in FIS's immigrant visa filings. Corporate, sales, and operations roles are sponsored far less frequently, so targeting the technology division gives you the strongest pathway.
How do I start the Green Card process at FIS?
The Green Card process at FIS typically begins after you're hired and have demonstrated performance in your role. FIS initiates the PERM labor certification through DOL, which requires advertising the position to verify no qualified U.S. workers are displaced. Once PERM is approved, FIS files Form I-140 with USCIS on your behalf. The process requires close coordination between you and FIS's immigration counsel.
How long does the Green Card process take at FIS?
The timeline depends on your country of birth and the EB category FIS files under. PERM certification alone can take six months to over a year. If your priority date is current, the full process from PERM to approval may take two to four years for most applicants. Nationals from India or China face significantly longer backlogs due to per-country visa limits set by USCIS.
How do I find Green Card jobs at FIS on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate filters job listings by verified employer sponsorship history, so you can search FIS roles specifically and see which positions have a track record of Green Card filings based on DOL Labor Condition Application data. This lets you prioritize applications to roles and teams where FIS has consistently sponsored permanent residency, rather than applying broadly and hoping sponsorship is available.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at FIS?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
