Target roles with a technical degree requirement
Green Card sponsorship at Infoblox tends to follow roles where a specific technical degree is essential, such as network engineering or software development. Positions requiring a defined field of study are more likely to qualify for the PERM labor certification process.
Confirm sponsorship intent before accepting an offer
Not every Infoblox offer automatically includes Green Card sponsorship. Ask the recruiter directly during the offer stage whether the role includes PERM filing support, and request clarity on the company's standard sponsorship policy for your specific position.
Understand where you fit in the EB-2 vs. EB-3 pathway
Infoblox files under both EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories depending on the role's educational requirements. Knowing which category applies to your position helps you set realistic timeline expectations, since priority date backlogs differ significantly between the two.
Join Infoblox on an H-1B or F-1 OPT first
Most Infoblox Green Card sponsorships begin after a period of nonimmigrant employment. Starting on H-1B or OPT gives you time to demonstrate performance, which strengthens your case internally when Green Card sponsorship discussions begin with your manager or HR.
Search for verified sponsorship history before applying
Before investing time in an application, verify that Infoblox has an active sponsorship track record in your target role category. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize companies with genuine Green Card programs.
Engage with Infoblox's cybersecurity and cloud networking teams
Infoblox's core business in DNS security and network infrastructure drives the bulk of its technical hiring. Candidates targeting these specialized areas within Technology & Software are well positioned for roles where Green Card sponsorship is a realistic part of the employment package.
Infoblox Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Infoblox sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Infoblox sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company files PERM labor certifications and immigrant petitions for professionals in technical and engineering roles. Sponsorship is typically initiated after a period of employment on a nonimmigrant visa such as H-1B visa or F-1 OPT, and is handled through Infoblox's legal and HR teams.
Which roles and departments at Infoblox are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Infoblox is most common in technical roles such as software engineering, network engineering, cloud architecture, and cybersecurity. These positions align with Infoblox's core business in DNS, DHCP, and IP address management. Roles that require a specific bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a technical field are the strongest candidates for PERM filing.
How does the Green Card application process work at Infoblox?
Infoblox typically initiates the Green Card process by filing a PERM labor certification with the Department of Labor on the employee's behalf. Once PERM is certified, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Employees in EB-2 or EB-3 categories then wait for a priority date to become current before filing for adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by Infoblox?
The full timeline depends on your preference category and country of birth. The PERM and I-140 stages together typically take one to two years. After that, wait times for a current priority date vary significantly. Applicants born in India or China face the longest backlogs due to per-country annual limits, while applicants from most other countries often wait far less.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Infoblox on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate lets you search and filter jobs specifically by visa sponsorship type, including Green Card. You can browse Infoblox's current openings and confirm sponsorship history directly on the platform, which pulls from verified filing data. This helps you focus your applications on roles where Infoblox has a demonstrated track record of sponsoring the visa type you need.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Infoblox?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
