Job Roles at Justworks
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Justworks Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles where Green Card sponsorship is most common
Justworks is most likely to sponsor Green Cards for specialized roles in accounting, compliance, payroll technology, and software engineering. Focus your applications on positions requiring deep technical or regulatory expertise rather than generalist or entry-level roles.
Understand the PERM process before your interview
Justworks Green Card sponsorship typically involves PERM labor certification, where the employer must document the hiring process. Knowing this process shows hiring managers you understand the commitment involved and are a serious, long-term candidate.
Align your background with Justworks's core business
Justworks operates in accounting, payroll, and HR compliance. Candidates with credentials or experience in these regulated domains, particularly CPAs or financial software specialists, are better positioned to secure Green Card sponsorship than generalist applicants.
Search verified sponsors when job hunting
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles at Justworks and other confirmed Green Card sponsors. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time you'd otherwise spend researching company-by-company.
Raise sponsorship expectations early in the process
Ask about Green Card sponsorship during the recruiter screen, not after receiving an offer. Justworks, like most accounting and HR tech firms, appreciates candidates who are transparent about immigration needs before the hiring process advances.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Justworks sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Justworks sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. Sponsorship is selective and typically reserved for roles where the company has identified a long-term business need and a candidate with specialized skills. If you are already working at Justworks on a nonimmigrant visa, that is often the most practical starting point for pursuing Green Card sponsorship.
Which roles or departments at Justworks are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Justworks tends to be concentrated in roles tied to the company's core business: software engineering, payroll compliance, accounting technology, and regulatory operations. Positions requiring specialized credentials in accounting or financial systems are stronger candidates for sponsorship than generalist or administrative roles.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at Justworks?
The process typically begins with PERM labor certification, where Justworks must conduct a formal recruitment effort to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. After PERM approval, the company files an immigrant petition on your behalf. Throughout this process, Justworks works with outside immigration counsel, so you will coordinate with both HR and legal teams.
How long does the Green Card process take when sponsored by Justworks?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the employment-based category Justworks files under, most commonly EB-2 or EB-3. PERM alone can take a year or more. For applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the overall wait significantly beyond that. Plan for a multi-year process and maintain valid nonimmigrant status throughout.
How do I find open Green Card sponsorship jobs at Justworks?
Justworks does not always label job postings as Green Card eligible, so it helps to search strategically. Migrate Mate lists open roles at verified Green Card sponsors like Justworks, with filters based on real sponsorship history rather than self-reported claims. Focusing on specialized accounting, compliance, and engineering roles gives you the strongest match with where Justworks has historically sponsored.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Justworks?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
