Target roles aligned with EB-2 or EB-3 pathways
NS IT Solutions sponsors Green Cards through both EB-2 and EB-3 classifications. Software engineering, IT consulting, and systems analyst roles tend to align with these pathways, so prioritize applying to positions where advanced degree requirements are explicitly stated.
Start the conversation during the offer stage
Green Card sponsorship at technology staffing firms like NS IT Solutions is typically discussed during offer negotiations, not after onboarding. Raise your long-term work authorization goals early so both parties align on the PERM labor certification timeline before you accept.
Understand that PERM comes before everything
Before NS IT Solutions can file your I-140 petition, the Department of Labor must certify a PERM application first. This recruitment audit process confirms no qualified U.S. workers were available for your role, so your job duties need to be clearly defined from day one.
Use Migrate Mate to verify sponsorship history
Before applying, confirm NS IT Solutions's sponsorship track record. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your job search on companies with a genuine Green Card program rather than those that only sponsor in theory.
Secure H-1B or TN status as a bridge while waiting
Green Card processing at technology firms can take time, particularly in oversubscribed priority dates. NS IT Solutions also sponsors H-1B and TN visas, so maintaining valid nonimmigrant status while your permanent residence case progresses is a practical and common arrangement at the company.
Document your specialized skills thoroughly
NS IT Solutions operates in Technology and Software, where EB-2 sponsorship often hinges on demonstrating that a role requires an advanced degree in a specific discipline. Keep detailed records of your credentials, certifications, and project experience before the PERM recruitment process begins.
NS IT Solutions Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does NS IT Solutions sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, NS IT Solutions sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees in technology and software roles. The company files through the employment-based EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories, which require completing the PERM labor certification process through the Department of Labor before the I-140 immigrant petition can be submitted to USCIS.
Which roles at NS IT Solutions are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at NS IT Solutions is most common in technical positions such as software developers, systems analysts, IT consultants, and network engineers. Roles that require a specific bachelor's or advanced degree in a technology discipline tend to qualify most cleanly under EB-2 and EB-3 criteria, making them the strongest candidates for PERM-based sponsorship.
How does the Green Card application process work at NS IT Solutions?
The process begins with PERM labor certification, where NS IT Solutions must demonstrate to the Department of Labor that no qualified U.S. workers are available for your position. Once PERM is certified, the company files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. After approval, you wait for a visa number to become available before filing for adjustment of status or consular processing.
How long does Green Card sponsorship take at NS IT Solutions?
The total timeline depends on your country of birth and the EB category your role falls under. PERM certification alone can take a year or more, and I-140 adjudication adds additional time. For applicants born in high-demand countries, priority date backlogs can extend the overall wait significantly. Maintaining valid H-1B visa status throughout this period is essential.
How do I find open Green Card jobs at NS IT Solutions?
Migrate Mate lists verified Green Card sponsoring employers, including NS IT Solutions, so you can browse open roles filtered by real sponsorship history rather than relying on unverified job postings. When reviewing positions, look for technology and software roles that specify degree requirements, as these align most closely with NS IT Solutions's established EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship pathways.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at NS IT Solutions?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
