Target technical and scientific roles
Green Card sponsorship at Teleflex is most common in engineering, research and development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. These roles align with the specialty occupation requirements that support EB-2 and EB-3 filings in the medical devices industry.
Understand the EB-2 versus EB-3 distinction
Teleflex may file under EB-2 for roles requiring advanced degrees or exceptional ability, or EB-3 for skilled positions. Knowing which category fits your background helps you evaluate timelines and prepare your documentation before your first interview.
Ask about sponsorship policy during the offer stage
Teleflex evaluates Green Card sponsorship on a role-by-role basis. The offer and negotiation stage is the right time to ask directly whether the position includes Green Card support, rather than assuming it applies to all international hires.
Search verified sponsors before applying
Not every Teleflex job posting signals Green Card support. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your search on roles where immigration support is genuinely on the table.
Factor PERM labor certification into your timeline
Most Teleflex Green Card filings go through PERM, a Department of Labor process that can take a year or more before the I-140 petition is even filed. Starting conversations about sponsorship early in your employment gives you the best chance of a smooth process.
Teleflex Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Teleflex sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Teleflex sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees in qualifying roles. Sponsorship is selective and typically reserved for technical, scientific, and regulatory positions where the company has a sustained need for specialized expertise. International candidates should confirm sponsorship availability for a specific role during the hiring process rather than assuming it applies broadly.
Which roles and departments at Teleflex are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Teleflex is most common in engineering, research and development, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and clinical or scientific functions. These departments regularly require candidates with specialized qualifications that align with the EB-2 and EB-3 preference categories. General administrative, sales, and entry-level operational roles are less likely to include Green Card support.
How does the Green Card application process work at Teleflex?
For most roles, Teleflex initiates the Green Card process through PERM labor certification, where the company must demonstrate to the Department of Labor that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the position. After PERM is certified, Teleflex files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. An immigration attorney retained by the company typically manages the process on the employer side.
How long does it take to get a Green Card through Teleflex?
The overall timeline depends on your country of birth, the preference category, and current visa bulletin priority dates. PERM labor certification alone can take a year or more, followed by I-140 adjudication. For applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories can extend the total wait significantly beyond the initial filing timeline.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Teleflex and confirm sponsorship before applying?
Start by identifying Teleflex roles in technical and scientific departments, where sponsorship is most common. Migrate Mate lets you search verified Green Card sponsors and filter opportunities by real sponsorship history, so you can focus on positions where immigration support is confirmed rather than guessing from job descriptions. Confirm sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter before advancing in the process.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Teleflex?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
