Match your credentials to Tenet's clinical needs
Tenet's Green Card filings concentrate in clinical roles like registered nursing, physical therapy, and specialized medicine. Before applying, confirm your license is recognized in the state where Tenet operates the facility you're targeting, state licensure gaps can stall PERM filings indefinitely.
Understand which EB pathway fits your background
Tenet typically files EB-3 for staff-level clinical roles and EB-2 for positions requiring advanced degrees or specialized expertise. If you hold a master's degree or higher in a clinical field, ask HR explicitly whether an EB-2 track is available before accepting an EB-3 offer.
Request the PERM timeline before signing your offer
PERM labor certification at DOL can take a year or longer before USCIS even receives the I-140 petition. Ask your Tenet recruiter for the average time their immigration counsel has taken to complete PERM filings so you can plan your authorization timeline accordingly.
Use OFLC Wage Search to benchmark your salary offer
DOL requires Tenet to pay at least the prevailing wage for your role and location during PERM. Run your job title and work location through OFLC Wage Search before negotiating your offer so you can verify the wage tier your position falls under and avoid delays from underpayment issues.
Search Migrate Mate to find open Green Card roles
Migrate Mate surfaces Tenet Healthcare job listings filtered by verified Green Card sponsorship history, so you can focus applications on roles where the pathway already exists rather than cold-applying and asking HR about sponsorship after the fact.
Prepare your credential documentation early in the process
For clinical roles at Tenet, PERM recruitment requires documented proof that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Gather your foreign academic transcripts, credential evaluation reports, and professional licenses before your start date so your employer's immigration counsel isn't waiting on you when the process begins.
Tenet Healthcare Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Tenet Healthcare sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Tenet Healthcare sponsors Green Cards for qualifying employees, primarily in clinical and healthcare roles. Sponsorship is employer-initiated and typically follows a period of employment. Eligible positions generally include registered nurses, therapists, and specialized medical staff across Tenet's hospital and outpatient network throughout the United States.
Which roles and departments at Tenet Healthcare typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Tenet Healthcare is most common in direct patient care roles, including registered nursing, physical and occupational therapy, and specialized clinical positions. Administrative and non-clinical corporate roles are sponsored less frequently. Roles requiring state licensure and where Tenet faces documented recruiting challenges are the strongest candidates for PERM-based sponsorship.
How does the Green Card application process work at Tenet Healthcare?
Tenet's immigration counsel initiates the process by filing for PERM labor certification with DOL, which requires demonstrating that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. After PERM approval, Tenet files the I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. Once your priority date becomes current, you apply for adjustment of status or consular processing to obtain the Green Card.
How long does the Green Card process take at Tenet Healthcare?
The timeline depends on the EB category and your country of birth. PERM labor certification alone can take 12 to 18 months. After PERM, USCIS adjudicates the I-140 petition. Applicants born in countries with visa backlogs, such as India or China, may wait years for a priority date to become current even after I-140 approval.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Tenet Healthcare?
Migrate Mate lists Tenet Healthcare roles with verified sponsorship data so you can identify positions where Green Card sponsorship is a realistic outcome. When applying directly, target facilities in states where Tenet has established clinical staffing programs and confirm sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter before progressing through the interview process.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Tenet Healthcare?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
