Target engineering and cybersecurity roles
Zscaler's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity positions. Focusing your applications on these technical departments gives you the strongest chance of landing a role with a clear path to permanent residency.
Confirm sponsorship intent during the interview process
Ask directly whether the role is eligible for Green Card sponsorship before accepting an offer. Zscaler's recruiting team and hiring managers can clarify whether a specific position falls within their sponsored roles, saving you from ambiguity later.
Understand where you fit in the PERM process
Zscaler typically sponsors Green Cards through PERM labor certification, which requires documenting that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Understanding this process helps you frame your specialized skills compellingly during interviews and negotiations.
Use verified sponsorship data to narrow your search
Not all Zscaler roles carry Green Card sponsorship. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which open positions at Zscaler are most likely to include permanent residency support.
Build specialized expertise in Zscaler's core product areas
Zscaler operates in zero-trust network security and cloud-delivered security services. Candidates with deep, demonstrable expertise in these areas are more likely to qualify for roles where Zscaler has both the willingness and business need to support Green Card sponsorship.
Start the Green Card conversation early in your tenure
Green Card timelines in Technology & Software can be lengthy, especially for nationals from high-demand countries. Raising the topic with HR or your manager early after joining Zscaler ensures the process starts before your nonimmigrant status creates unnecessary urgency.
Zscaler Green Card Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Zscaler sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Zscaler sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company has an established sponsorship program primarily supporting technical and engineering talent in its core cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure teams. Sponsorship is typically initiated after an employee has demonstrated value in their role, and eligibility varies by position and business need.
Which roles and departments at Zscaler typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Zscaler is most common in software engineering, cloud architecture, cybersecurity research, and technical product roles. These departments align with Zscaler's core business in zero-trust security and cloud-delivered services, where specialized skills are hard to source domestically and sponsorship is more routinely offered as part of the employment package.
How does the Green Card application process work at Zscaler?
Zscaler typically sponsors Green Cards through the PERM labor certification process, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition and adjustment of status or consular processing. The company works with immigration counsel to manage each stage. Employees in sponsored roles should expect close coordination with Zscaler's HR and legal teams throughout the multi-step process.
How long does the Green Card process take at Zscaler?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth. PERM certification alone can take one to two years, and the I-140 and final stages add additional time. For nationals born in India or China, priority date backlogs in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories can extend the overall wait significantly beyond what the filing timeline alone suggests.
How do I find Green Card jobs at Zscaler that include sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search specifically for roles where Green Card sponsorship has been confirmed rather than assumed. Migrate Mate aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can identify Zscaler positions with a real sponsorship history, reducing the risk of applying to roles that won't support your permanent residency goals.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Zscaler?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
